burden of proof lies within the person making the claim. that which is claimed without proof can be dismissed without proof.
to give an extreme example, If i were to claim you are sexually attracted to feet without providing any source, it would be clearly in violation of forum rules in multiple ways. i dont see reason why other claims should be treated differently.
and it didnt. and now we have swiss subtree not in france.
that was never operated by the france.
Leopards are different to mirage IIIS due to the fact that they were operated by both belgium (leo1s) and dutch (leo2s). belgium and netherlands are subtree to france. hence france got leopard 2s.
France already has several Mirage variants in its tech tree including multiple versions of the Mirage III and will likely receive even more in the future, given how many export versions exist. The addition of the Mirage IIIS to Germany’s tree doesn’t take anything away from France, especially considering this specific variant was only operated by Switzerland, a country historically tied to the German tree in War Thunder.
There’s no logical reason for the Mirage IIIS to be in the French tree: France never used it, and neither did any Benelux nation, which already forms part of the French subtree. Switzerland, on the other hand, has been part of the German tree from the start. This doesn’t hurt France’s uniqueness at all they now have the Rafale, the Mirage 2000, and will continue to hold exclusive access to the majority of domestic Mirage designs.
In fact, adding unique vehicles to other trees improves the game. It helps diversify tech trees and encourages players to try other nations. If you want to fly the Mirage IIIS, you can grind it through Germany, just like many of us have done with other vehicles in different trees. Personally, I’d love to see the French F-16AM, and even though I already unlocked it with the U.S., I support France getting it too it adds depth and appeals to more players.
At the end of the day, this isn’t a big deal. It’s part of War Thunder’s development combining realism with balance and gameplay variety. It doesn’t diminish France in any way; it simply makes the game richer and more engaging for everyone.
a variant of mirage exclusively operated by swiss should not go anywhere else but swiss subtree.
correct. there is no canadian subtree at the moment.
and if they get one in the future, they can get the 2A4M, just as sweden got the premium swedish centurion that was sitting in UK TT or israel got the israeli centurion that was sitting in the UK TT. simple as. as with C2A1, its likely not moving anywhere, since its event vehicle and finds itself in same situation as US merkavas.
because there is no official canadian subtree. so leopards went to leopards. simple as.
similiarly, if Mirage IIIS was announced on its own, without swiss subtree, only logical place for it would be france.
and germany never used the leopard c2 mexas,or leopard2a4can they got??
It helps diversify tech trees
aaah sure!! everyone is really happy to get an f5 for the sixth time in another nation
everyone is happy to grind for a fifth leopard 2a4 in another nation
how can it encourage other players to play another nations if half the tree is already something you already got?
and the several mirage variants?
we are waiting.
we are waiting too much
knowing gaijin? maybe we will finally get a new mirage III variant in like? 5 years? or maybe they will add it to china? because pakistan???..
