i wanna put this out there, if france can get its early Mirage F1s AND its later export mirage F1s, we could easily have :
F1A and/or F1B (~11.0) ==> F1C / F1CT folder (12.0) ==> F1EQ-6 (12.3) ==> F1EM VI / MF2000 (~14.0)
just move the MIrage 4000 over to the 200C branch and voilà! a complete “Mirage F1” line (and the 200C branch now also has an interim between the (12.3) 2000C and the (14.0) 2000-5)

idk, i kinda like where the F1C is sitting, not so much its stock grind and matchmaker, but it is what it is.
you’d also need to find a reason to remove its magic 2s, it’d be easier to do with one of the earlier F1 variants

Yeah this would be a good approach imo. EQ-6 and EM VI under the CT and then the EQ-5 as a premium would be quite nice.
Getting a researchable EQ-5 would be even better ofc, but gaijin will probably want to make their money somewhere
My view on that is, the F1C has a worse RWR and also no stock Magic 2, making the F1CT a more enjoyable option for 12.0 which is very a very unforgiving BR bracket (despite the loss of one gun, but one defa is not too bad imo). As for the removal of magic 2, loadouts are one of the main balance grounds for vehicles and anyway there actually is a historical reason: the Mirage F1C entered service before the Magic 2 was a thing, while the CT entered service after that.
If you have a reshuffle that works out great then sure, I’m just saying it’s what they could do if they don’t wanna restructure the tree
