Absolutely diabolical that they add the r73 to yak141 and it stays at 12.7, but mig29 with r73 must be 13.0. Gaijin simply can’t hide their disdain for the mig…but f15’s and f16’s with vastly better fm’s, avionics and the same generation of missiles can be 12.7 and slaughter everyone unabated

Anyways it’s pure BS that the MiG-29s are going to be a higher BR than the F-15As. Literally worse in every way but radar missile quality and speed.

I think not, the Russian 9.13 will get R-73 and go 13.0 but they’ll add a 9.12 without them at 12.7. Germany has both a 12.7 and a 13.0, so there’s no reason that the 12.7 gets R-73

This is a really bad compromise. The FM is still not fixed, R-73s inherently don’t warrant 13.0, R-60Ms at 12.7 is still a bad thing and no MiG-29 ever used them in Soviet service. Like the R-73 was one of its trademarks… it wasn’t R-60M + HMD that made the US panick into designing the AIM-9X.
