no, not really.

would u like a map with a gun timer or no timer?

I have one

uno momento boss

The developers answered and this was their final reply; there will be no subsequent changes.

Continuing to entertain the argument and pushing an issue that has gotten Ziggy and others in trouble before is not worthwhile. I suggest @kizvy stop replying to the nonsense. Let them shitpost and it will be handled accordingly.

I agree I’m done coping and I’m just gonna give up on fantasies lololol.

What does static thrust, at sea level, standard day means?

I can use other aerospace propulsion books if you would like.

It’s really simple gaijin, did not know what take-off thrust was then. They do now, it’s only a matter of time.

You on the other hand are intentionally doing anything you can not to comprehend the textbook definition because you spent literally years peddling this misconception and feel it will somehow make you less knowledgeable about aircraft or credible discussing technical aspects.
When it doesn’t, we all learn as we go, we all believed in gross misconceptions before especially the developer.

Simply verify the stated thrust to weight of the MiG-29G manual of 9.12G, 9.12, 9.13 using the stated, static thrust at sea level standard day. The thrust you claim is uninstalled & the normal take-off weight of the aircraft.

8,300 kgfx2 is the only thrust output that will give the MiG-29 a precise 1:1 ratio at normal take-off weight (full internal fuel) consistent with the Flight manuals. I even provided the textbook, engineering, industry definition of Static, thrust at sea, standard day.

The thrust provided at take-off in game only give a ratio of .94 for the MiG-29G.

Take-off thrust does not encompass the entire flight envelope of the aircraft M 0-0.3. So yes, it still is possible you can be right that the jet might have overperformances when it’s in different flight regimes while the thrust at take-off is still nerfed.

It is not always one absolute or the other as Gaijin can & has nerfed and buffed many parameters affecting any given aircraft’s flight performance without ever touching thrust, or in this case keeping it reduced.

You are not the final say nor was it the final reply; you are not the final authority on all things bug reported. The world does not revolve around you, and players are getting smarter & more research driven.

This literally screams “because I failed & given up, I will make sure no one else tries and succeeds”.

This is a selfish pride thing. You only came to this thread to deter us from discussing our findings & continuing where you left off.

Its already accounted for in airworthiness certification. The manufacturer is mandated to use installed thrust unless specifically stating otherwise in the flight manual for obvious reasons. it’s a FLIGHT MANUAL

This is a universal guideline that the FAA, DoD, ICAO has adopted. The MiG-29 is ICAO compliant. Would you like to see evidence of this?

Okay then where is the airworthiness certificate for any MiG-29? Since it would contain the installed thrust. Surely you can post an example of one.

I’ll reiterate once more, there is no need to respond to someone who is shitposting for engagement.
Devs explained the errors in the manual and the reason the thrust is correct in-game over two years ago. Time to move on.

Why would it need to, do you really think that a mig-29 would need to run at full afterburner while on the ground and its intakes closed?
