Because the Soviet Union primarily used 9.13s, 9.12s were mainly for export nations.

You are correct. But unlike 9-12, 9.13 was never exported so it is more fitting to give to USSR tech tree rather than 9.12
I mean… most of the MiG-29s left standing after the collapse were 9.13s so it’s kinda fitting, plus they haven’t modeled ECM YET…
And because gaijin wanted a “Late” MiG-29 so they could duct tape 27ERs to it… and yet they still have yet to model BZPP-4D…

alright, i also heard some about a radar named N041 also being adopted on the 9.19R aswell is that just some similar radar to the zhuk-m/me
I’m still not really sure what “N041” is but 9.19Rs use N010M, nothing else.
this could be Zhuk-M on MiG-29Ks but no confirmation on that.
I’m pretty sure from some digging I did a year or two ago, that Russia just tried renaming N010M to N041 on MiG-35 to help export but it never worked… but I’m probably wrong with that assumption.
yeah thats the conclusion i came to when searching for info about the N041 just being a re designated N010M, ive heard it being used on 9.19R and 9.41SR
It’s technically just 9.41/41R for the 29K, 9.41S is 29M
this might be the only plane with R-60M that also has an R-60 modification if im not mistaken

yeah but the 9.61/67 are the early/limited production variants that was for export like the indian MMRCA and these featured the Zhuk-AE. Meanwhile the ones that entered service with the VKS in the late 2010s and 2020s have the Zhuk-M N1010M7N041 and are called 9.41/47SR

The ones that the VKS has are also 9.61/67s, with N010M.
