SMT wasnt fine when it was added and it took too much effort to make it as good as it is right now.
You know better then anyone considering you’re one of the few people who worked really hard to make SMT competetive.
F-15’s main issue is wing ripping right now, if flight performance is also lacks something it should be reported as Well.
It didn’t take much effort, might seem like it did because Ziggy was in here causing trouble and spewing nonsense. Those reports took very little turn around time.
I can’t seem to get it to rip like y’all are claiming. It’s good up to 12G’s so far.
Reports might have took little time but Gaijin took sweet amount of time to fix SMT.
Main issue is the ripping itself, it should not be ripping its own wings, if G limit is the main issue then they can just simply limit the amount of G we can pull in order to prevent this just like how they did to Draken.
Less than two weeks turn around for my reports. It was REALLY fast.
I’d wait before the patch drops… so far MiG-29G and F-16C still seem to be the kings. Maybe the Su-27 will have a bigger impact in live matches with the load out it has but since 99% of the kills are IR missiles this is not a given

the mirage 4000 is the best plane rn for dogfighting

By definition it is a tactical fighter. It occupied a higher tactical niche relative to MiG-29, that doesn’t make it strategic.
In US doctrine tactical and strategic mean two very different things in how the military is structured perhaps the person you’re arguing with is confused and think it applies the same way to Soviet / Russian doctrine?
In actuality, the two programs for the MiG-29 and Su-27 were both “tactical fighters”, but was split into “light” and “heavy” and that’s about all there is to it. Neither are “strategic” by any means.
The su27s 1c performance is crazy, i wish the 29 could something like that. At this point i wouldnt mind worse energy retention
