So how is the F15 not going to be technologically superior in the meta? Especially since the Awg9 is gimped and we are forced to use Aim7Fs? No ETA on the Aim54 confirmed either.
F14 has dramatically better sensor integration (TISEO should be able to slew sidewinders seekers, AIM-54 datalink, and CW illuminator. Same for IRST on F-14D)
F14 Also has A2G capability with paveways, dumb bombs, rockets, and rockeyes. F15 was literally designed under the mantra "Not a Pound For Air-To-Ground
Also F-14 had much more advanced datalink and general sensors, excluding the lack of MPRF radar. It got GPS with the LITENING pod, LINK-4 since the F-14A (AWACS to Aircraft target marking), LINK-16 (Aircraft to Aircraft target sharing) + An exceptional IRST with the F-14D, and some F-14As had JHMS as well.
Of course, there is only so much we can do until Gaijin actually goes though with it and un-gimps the AWG-9, FCS, and Phoenixes, but theoretically the F-14 is still a competitor with the F-15. (F-14D will also have MPRF radar and IRST with full integration but that isn’t yet present in game)

Careful mentioning MPRF, it was a downgrade from HPRF to him in weeks prior… now it’s going to be the pinnacle of aviation radar technology if you say the same thing I’ve been telling him about it for weeks. Calling it now.

There is definetely something wrong with proximity fuzes currently. R-73 Failing to detonate and just going past the target…

We will see how they compare in the manuals, that is what the game will base their information on. Fortunately, the Su-27 is full fly-by-wire and has demonstrated sufficiently that it is capable of proper >100 degree Cobra (and more information about this region of flight is available)… No excuse from Gaijin to model it incorrectly.

The version in the game itself is Gaijin’s fault, because it claims to have a model from 9-19R, but in fact it’s 9-19 with an L-150 attached
Point is, the version first released to the game was the original SMT. You can already consider yourself very lucky that Gaijin gave it the L-150 when this version shouldn’t have it. The upgraded SMT with more CM and better weapons will most likely come later to the game, that or Gaijin will fully make the jump and upgrade the current SMT to the better version. In the meanwhile, deal with it.
Also, weird 3D models have been a thing for years. The baseline M1A2 has a SEP model since its release in 2019 yet has none of the SEP feature. Welcome to the club.
The problem here is not only in the 3D model. RWR was done because the MiG began to sag greatly according to statistics instead of correcting its FM and making normal missile noise protection. Which should be there. and it turned out to be a kind of Frankenstein
As said, the MiG-29SMT with low amount of CM and SPO-15 is what Russia used before it was upgraded. Deal with it. Complain to MiG and/or the Russian government if you’re not happy with that. Gaijin could have added the better SMT version but they decided to go with the first one. Their choice, it is what it is.
Which is why, you can already consider yourself lucky that Gaijin accepted to give it the L-150 when it shouldn’t have it in the first place.
Judging your reactions you will probably loose your mind if Gaijin decides to give additional CMs to SMT.
