But the American one will not lose speed, will turn better, will have missiles with not broken drag, faster acceleration.

Yeah honestly with the decompressed BRs and how the Mig 29 will be 0.3br away from the F-16s, F15A, and the Gripen A. It would be ideal to give it R-73s to make it competitive. Though I wonder if removing the R27E missiles will allow it to stay at 12.7br?
Idk if limiting the R-73s to 4x would be a good idea considering its new BR placement would make it right below the F16 block 10, the F15A, and the Gripen A.
Honestly, given how insane the R-73 is at close range, a MiG-29A without the R-27E would not have the same BR as an F-16A Block 10.
To makes equal with MiG-29 with R73, they could give the AIM-9M to Block 10 as well, but if they did that they would definitely move to 12.3, the same BR as the Belgian F-16A Block 15.
In today’s update the french f16 ended up in 13.3 instead of 13.0, they prob did a mistake when making the tables. One thing that makes me sad is that probably they feel that these changes were enough for now, so they won’t touch these 4th gen for a while.
I honestly Can’t comprehend their logic when giving early vipers 13.0 Br and 12.7 for the fulcrums, like ok the mig29 sucks FM wise but everyone knows that for the META, bvr ordinance is much more relevant, even more now that multipath got nerfed. Why can’t they remove the r27er from the fulcrum and give it r73s? Why the fk they love that missile so much?
Gonna use my German Mig-29G with R-73 and 27ER now at 13.0 It’s also a joke how the best aicraft before this patch (gripen A) is only 13.0 now lmao.

The MiG-29 was designed and built with R-73s in mind, it’s a complete travesty all it gets R-60Ms at 12.7. What it was NOT designed and built with in mind are R-27ERs, so it should lose those and gain R-73s, should be fine at 12.7 if the MiG-29G is 13.0 and gets the R-27ERs. Speaking of, if the MiG-29G is to remain distinct, it can stay exactly as it is and fill the middle ground between the WVR-focused 9-12A/9-13 and the BVR-focused 9-19R.
And if the FM ever gets fixed, they can all go up 0.3 BR: 9-12A/9-13 to 13.0, MiG-29G to 13.3 and 9-19R to 13.7.
Lol true, after the update they fell completely behind the Western planes in both bvr and wvr. Unfortunately gaijin won’t accept videos as evidence for such underperforming stuff, the guy from the video that i posted in the flanker thread made a report but couldn’t achieve success. They said that they can only accept manuals and stuff like that, the problem is that there’s little to no info regarding the issue that both the su and the mig are having rn.

Well, at this point the decrease of Russian aircraft in matches is noticeable. Teams are %70-80 F-15/16 I hope everyone stops playing these joke russian planes and maybe gaijin will realize it’s costing them money to make russian aircraft so garbage
They were also reluctant to give the MiG-23MLD and Soviet MiG-21bis R-60Ms for a while (the German MiG-21bis got them like a year early AND at the same BR) so there’s hope.
My 9.13 have been rotting on the hangar since September and It’s a good aircraft for the meta but it just doesn’t feel right to fly that thing, it’s like a cursed mig31.
