So if I understand correctly, we have (as of now) 13.7 fulcrum with FM of a barn door, 60 countermeasures and no HMS?
Because at glance, that sounds like Su-34, but worse.
Please tell me I’m wrong, I want to be wrong.

Don’t ruin this plane even more gaijin
Please
What are you doing
Wdym no HMS
It does have an HMS afaik
HMS exists, i just meant that IRL it was never isntalled on a prototype (at least airframe 156), but was planned.
It looks like it was tested on 154 tho, Ik we can’t see the actual sensors and only see the actual HMS he is wearing but you can assume if they are testing it onboard, the sensors would probably be there
Yeah, there is zero reaon to install a targeting module on a helmet wihtout sensors in the cockpit. 154 was used for engine reliability tests during missile launches, so probably that’s why it got HMS installed.
theres a Mig-29M OVT skin in the files.

I mean they could still add OVT standalone. gaijin doesnt like making new models and the only difference between them is the thrust vectoring, no?
technically yes, it’s not even the same model, it’s literally the exact same airframe. But as a tech demonstrator there is no hard proof that it retained all the necessary avionics for combat, so gaijin could just refuse to add it (although it would probably sell like hot pies if it became a premium)
the Su-35s for the aerobatic team retain combat capabilities so theres slight hope…?
I mean the ovt removed the irst among other things unlike the su-35 aerobatic team
Russian Knights (and probably Swifts) are somwhat unique case. They fly fully combat-capable airframes. Tech demonstrators, however, especially made out of prototype airframes like OVT… no one knows for sure what is inside and what isn’t.
a man can dream (delusions)
And with a little more lift on the wings
Not surprising, it should compress more and have worse controllability at high speed than the other, lighter mig-29s due to weight and bigger control surfaces, not surprising honestly
it is 50 kilo heavier than SMT, i don’t think that compression should be that severe in comparison
