Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-29 Fulcrum - History, Design, Performance & Dissection (Part 1)

among the youtube shorts, I found a discussion about why Rafale so powerful

one person just said “canards” word
so now I think it was the dev

bruh

Spoiler

so j10 is not “modern delta canards” probably because the russia was helped china to create it
so its just delta canard

Why are we discussing delta canards in a MiG-29 thread? Also half of the top tier flies with Flight models of different degrees of bullshit, is this really too surprising?

yes

My sweet summer child…

so, if 9.15 MiG-29M is squadron vehicle, then

9.31 MiG-29K (Early) could be premium or research tree?

I really wanna see 29K in the Naval line as TT

9.31 probably gonna be completely skipped and only MiG-29K we will get (if we will get it) will be 9.41.

yeah 9.41 KR is most likely, 9.31 K (Early) was based off from 9.15 M, though most latter Fulcrums does traced their origin from 9.15 anyways

but at least as 9.15 become a thing maybe could expect 9.41 KR and 9.61 M/35 in future update

They were technically independent development processes, but had more than 70% interchangeable parts iirc.

32 flares don’t sell

9.31 was planned with similar CM system to 9.15 tho, obviously never installed cuz whole ass 2 airframes. 9.41 and onwards use ventral pods under the tail. I hope that Gaijin will cook something for J-15T countermeasures, because this way we could also push for bigger dual row pods for MiG-29K as well.

They could always give the 2x BVP 32-50 found on the Algerian and Egyptian 9.41s
