Considering Japan is gonna recieve everyone’s best toy I wouldn’t be surprised if that happens.

This doesn’t exist

… Or simply because the programs funding was cut before the prototypes could get their full electronic suites…

This is ignoring that afaik L-150 was having some huge funding and development issues in the 80s-90s (hence why besides a handful of Su-25Ts basically nothing got it)

Prototypes never get full suite. Look at Su-27 production, all T10 or T-10S airframes lack in full sensor suites. Even if program would go fruther - these specific airframes would still be in an incomplete configuration.

small model showing the two extra hardpoints planned for the MiG-35 bringing it up to 11 total, the idea never made it past model mock ups and advertising

Was kinda expecting the wingtips r-73s, though I’d bet at least the ones shown in the photo could carry small bombs or something

im surprised they even planned to fit an extra hardpoint under the wing since its already quite packed with 4 already

They made a big mistake not going for 2 extra slim pylon under intakes for r77 only.

practically scrapping the ground with the fins if you mount an R-77 under the intakes lol

Folder wing existed for so many years now.

Plus its only r77. Astra could work better. Aim120 basically any other missile

Dual racks are a better idea

cant work because they will be no space for the next pylon.

put 2 missiles behind each outher between the intakes

would be great.
sadly not compatible with the one that have the old tail air break.

At that point you can just ditch the airbrake and use the vertical control surfaces

yeah but i think the vertical air brake are bit too small for the plane.

could work if they use the same system as the a10
