Hey, atleast its better than nothing.
Would depend, it didnt stop gaijin adding SPS-141 ECM pods to MiG-21SMT. Gaijin could straight up name it as MAWS PODS or smthing.

seems like my theory of how it would have worked wasnt wrong
there might be a source out there saying the zhuk or bars can, but thats just wishful thinking
Actually prototype 155-156 uses L-150 if I’m not mistaken.
I dont think a r73 could be used lol, just how small it is nest to a r73.
Also su25 can also use it.
wdym couldn’t be used? Photos literally show combat versions of R-73s installed alongside Talisman
no i said you cant use a r73 with the thing like we see with the r60m in the image
This is R-73…
this ? its looks small ?

yes, you can see distinct R-73 tail fins at the back with aelerons. R-60M has longer tail fins with bigger sweep and with rollerons at the edge

not to mention bigger distance between destabilisers and control surfaces and different fuse
oh yeah i see it now.
damn the r73 is back that the one on the wing next to it make it look small
It is implemented on Su-30SM tho (at least according to the video from the excercise). But i doubt that gaijin will bother to program this for a single missile. Maybe if we will get MiG-31 with R-33 that also can be launched at several targets simultaniously.
jf17 and f111 have rear maws coverage only
Well unlike SPS-141 which is required to have countermeasures on things like 21MF/SMT and Bis-SAU, MAWS isn’t exactly required for gameplay to work properly…
And they’re so chopped </3 especially 111…
It does not have Maws. This is called the first generation Flare detector
What would the solution be for the US?
F-15EX can get MAWs from what i know
otherwise there isnt any option as far as iam aware
(unless they get something like the MAW pods on the belgium f-16)
Not US service ones but yeah it can it has the mounts
exactly they gonna get it through:
“if it technically can, it will get it”
Properly which is ok
