The MiG-29 is purely a 4th generation aerodynamic design.
It is the only aircraft in the world that can fly at angles of attack beyond lift without digital flight controls & thrust vectoring. The Flanker has digital flight controls.
The 5th generation F-22 did not get its ridiculous thrust to weigh ratio and immense pitch authority to combat the Mirage’s flight performance. That is for sure.

Pods are most likely interchangeable. Considering we have Su-30SM2 in current configuration, giving MiG-29K 2x32 CMs won’t be the biggest crime

Should be 100% interchangeable in the MiG-29M and MiG-35. With the 29K it is most likely is but you never know with the slight airframe difference
They are in the same place, wiring should be exactly the same as well. At worst - it might require some updates to fire control system so it will show correct amount of CMs available.

The design is basic, but so is the F-15 and F-22’s. That does not mean they are aerodynamically third generation. The Mirage 2000 was designed from the onset with relaxed static stability margins and to be used with a fly-by-wire flight control system. From the onset it was a fourth generation design aerodynamically.
In fact, the MiG-29–while designed for maneuverability–was actually inferior to the Mirage 2000 in other areas. It had a conventional flight control system and no carefree handling capabilities. It was considerably harder to fly well than the Mirage 2000. A novice pilot could hop in both and would quickly lose control of the Fulcrum and excel in the Mirage.
The F-22 was not made to combat the Mirage 2000 or the MiG-29, the choice to make it maneuverable was not part of the basic requirements for the program either. The better alternative was not chosen for political reasons, but the YF-23 focused instead on more important features like higher speeds in supersonic cruise, efficiency, and reduced IR signature.

The United States does not develop on imaginary future threats, they develop and fund on perceived, existing ones. This is why the need for the 5th generation was declared. It is why the 6th generation was declared as well.
Yes, because the delta wing is already unstable at high angles of attack and generates immense drag if unregulated. The Delta wing profile the French uses is a 3rd generation base design that prioritizes supersonic flight and aerodynamic efficiency in that regime. Until fly-by wire came, they were desperate to develop a fighter that can fill the gap in the meantime, that is why they abandoned the delta for a bit and focused on the F1.
The Mirage 2000 neither possess the thrust to weight ratio to go vertical at will & dogfight stamina in number of engines to the MiG-29 to ever compare. This is common knowledge.
They are not aerodynamically perfected like the MiG-29 and F-15. These aircraft did not need flyby wiring and did not have it for a very long time.
Because a fighter requires digital flight controls for a human pilot to manage its instability & overcome its older design limitations does not mean they are better than aerodynamically perfected aircraft of the 4th generation like the MiG-29, F-15 & definitely not the Su-27 though it has digital flight control.
The RD-33 does in fact produce 81.3 kN which is about 8300kg and more modern versions of the RD-33 can even reach 88 kN. And in real life the MiG-29SMT features the RD-33K which has 86 kN. And the Naval variants like the RD-33MK has 88 kN. No offence but you don’t need to be a mastermind to find this out. The MiG-29 in game lacks the performance it has IRL. This is a realistic game. And sure yes, The MiG-29 in game can do 28 degrees but It cant keep it. It falls out of the sky. When flying the MiG-29 it feels like the air is 2 times thicker. And it also feels as if the air is only lifting on the wings not the body/fuselage as well. The MiG-29 is a record breaking plane but cant break any records in this game cause they don’t give it its true form. Imagine if they add for example a modern mig29 and then build it of the almost prototype like model and have it do 20 degrees with like 7 tonnes in each engine. For example the MiG-29M2/35 can do a sustained 30 degree turn as well but it cant keep that performing rate if it does not have power or the recourses the other Mig-29’s lack too.
