sorry i didnt read all the way. 9.17 was upgraded to 9.19.

*technically 9.12 external with some 9.13 insides

9.17 was the first SMT attempt but got shelved and with several drawbacks (the dorsal spine extended too long it even blocked the upper airbrake, although later they did install a new airbrake onto revised spine with similar end piece to 9.15), 9.19 is the SMT we all familiar with today.

you might hate me for this but i think the UB was the better option

no radar

no radar missiles

worse flightperformace and less fuel
while probably being heavier as well

Looks cool

Do all ub have no radar ?

they dont

why do you think the nose looks completly different

Still i can get the ub with r73 and irst. Would be a nice early cas.

Yeah…that’s a bad idea. Better ask for 29KUB

or even better

Mig-35

also it has no countermeasures and im kinda impressed the mig29ub suggestion on this website managed to gloss over this crucial detail

Gaijin doesn’t believe in existence of Fulcrums based on MiG-29M airframe

since you mentioned that I never noticed that before,

MiG-29UBT 9.52 could be interesting too, but only 2 was ever build, still no radar but you did get CM comp with it (on 2nd prototype)

Im looking at the MMRCA MiG-35 #154 (the one based on the 9.15 airframe) it lacks the normal 16/32 dispensers found on the normal 9.41/61 airframes, but it features the planned mounts from the 9.15s with having it mounted inside the spine. So it appears it doesn’t have any CM mounted in its current configuration but if it was to come to the game would it get the underside CM mounts or the spine mounted CMs?
