yeah but the 9.61/67 are the early/limited production variants that was for export like the indian MMRCA and these featured the Zhuk-AE. Meanwhile the ones that entered service with the VKS in the late 2010s and 2020s have the Zhuk-M N1010M7N041 and are called 9.41/47SR

I think it was done in symmetry with F-16A that has to research trough AIM-9J before it can get Lima. And Floggers technically also have to go trough rear aspect heat seeker phase, just with R-13 instead
None of which applies anymore bc the Block 10 is a lower BR and the Block 15 does get stock 9Ls (and now they gave it 120s) xd
Oh and the Fulcrum is more than a whole BR step above the Flogger, and still has to go through a rear aspect missile xdxd and pretty much for nothing, since anyone would only carry 2 R-60s since you get stock 2x60M + 2x27 xdxdxd

yeah i researched napalm on the mig first bc imo two napalm are more useful than two rear aspect r-60’s

i mean, MiG-29 also gets stock R-60Ms. I am not saying that they are equal to 9Ls but by gaijin logic everything fits.

I posted a test indicating that the in-game MiG-29 was not dynamic enough compared to the real one, but the moderator closed my thread.

I am warming up to MiG-29SMT. With 13.3 being filled with hordes of Su-30 you are really effective at bonking stuff with amazing radar gimbal limit as well as solid 6 missiles.
Wish we had 9.15 as well alonside it so i can trade slightly worse RWR for 2 additional R-77s

If you have china you can play the Chinese flanker that’s somehow at 13.3. Best 13.3 in the game imo, even better than 29smt
