Since the BR has been decompressed to some extent, Hungarian MiG-29 9.12B can get R-73 and R-27ET to make it equivalent to MiG-29G.
For 9.13? I don’t know because russia will lose equivalent of MiG-29 9.12A. Probably, If we gets original 9.12 which doesn’t have R-73s, 9.13 can gets R-73 and R-27ET.
Problem is BR difference between the MiG-29A and MiG-29G will be only 0.3BR after “decompression”, and the MiG-29G has the same BR as the F-15A/F-15J, M4K, and JAS39A(wtf gaijin)
MiG-29A will have same BR with F-16A Block 10 so, it is really questionable that MiG-29 with R-73+HMD would be good counterpart of Block 10s.
It should be 0.3 higher than block 10. Thing is MiG-29G sit in a strange spot right now, since it got to 12.7 because of its loadout, despite being one of the worst of its BR
And what a coincidence! The gaijin special physics say all russian aircraft must fall from sky after 1 turn, and all american jets must be rockets that never lose speed!!
Yeah honestly with the decompressed BRs and how the Mig 29 will be 0.3br away from the F-16s, F15A, and the Gripen A. It would be ideal to give it R-73s to make it competitive. Though I wonder if removing the R27E missiles will allow it to stay at 12.7br?
Idk if limiting the R-73s to 4x would be a good idea considering its new BR placement would make it right below the F16 block 10, the F15A, and the Gripen A.
