Hopefully they wont be dogshit flying airbrakes anymore. I tried notching in 29SMT today at 5000 meters and lost all my speed in 1 turn. Then said fuck this. Playing F-15C with AIM-120 and shitting on the horrible poor MIGs and SUs now. Maybe gaijin will fix them if they get stomped enough times.
Thank god im not a 1 nation main. I have all nations except Italy and France. I wouldn’t be able to stand playing the horrible russian jets now that they have literally 0 advantages.

gaijin would never touch them before because of the r27er and absolute bvr dominance, they made the mig29 behave like a mig31 and it was ok for them because winrates were “balanced” although the plane is an absolute fantasy vehicle.
Wait a week or two, maybe a month, they will have to do something about it otherwise there will be no reason to play with Russia as its counterparts have:
more CMs, same bvr capabilities, much better flight models.

F-15C is a beast. Along with Gripen.

Also, much better radars. Su-27 radar is absolutely horrible. Smt radar is great but it’s a Mig-29, so auto lose.

su-27 was fine meta-wise until the update tho, it had the best loadout although the fm sucked ass but as we don’t dogfight regularly in air rb it didn’t matter that much

Guys whats going on with R-73’s? It basically ignores flares on almost every aspect.
Best part is its not wobbling anymore.
You already have negative KD in the 29SMT AND SU-27 and you are telling me I have SKILL ISSUE? And that those planes are great?

idk if that’s happening to you but it happened to me, check if you keys are conflicting with the new mechanic of switching between flares and chaff because mine were. For an instance i thought the ir missiles were buffed but it was just the game picking chaff over flares, i’ll test if the r73 is different latter but i think the problem is the new mechanic.
The Mig-29SMT is boss hoss right now. The radar of the Su-27 is really showing its disadvantages right now.

i noticed that furballs are almost extinct now (at least in matches that involve fox3s), the multipath change was awesome imo
F-16 is more enjoyable i think.
Insane flight performance plus Aim-120’s makes it so much deadly.
I also noticed R27ER’s doesnt get effected too much by chaffing or notching compare to Fox-3 missiles, still most bs missile i ever see.
