I want gaijin remove R-27ER & R-27ER1/R-27ET1 from MiG-29 (9-12A), MiG-29 (9-12B), MiG-29G & MiG-29 (9-13) for 3 countries and 6x R-60 replace by R-73/R-73E (except MiG-29G)
& lower their BRs because ER or not they are getting murdered fighting Aim-120s. If they go down with BR with the ERs its fake & they are overpowering lower aircraft unfairly. Give them their R73.
ARH missiles are making already making R-27ER utterly useless. As is historical.
I won’t MiG-29 9-13 (USSR), MiG-29 9-12A (GDR), MiG-29 9-12B (HuAF) and MiG-29G (GER) armed R-27ER/R-27ET & R-27ER1/R-27ET1 because 3 countries (germany, italy & USSR) get fighter aircraft with active radar homing MRAAM
I like R60s on the Mig-29 its historical
The problem is if they give R73s & take nothing. They will only go up in BR. Still get murdered. They have no actual defense against the Aim-120.
R-73s will not resolve this dilemma for them. Neither will a over buffed R-27ER, fictional PD HMD mode.
The only option is taking the ER. That is a post-Soviet Mig-29 missile.
How do you figure this washing machine looking radar can point vertically? The front reflector needs to move as well to point any beam at the angles found in WT. It is not moveable. Only the primary reflector circled in yellow can, BARELY.
I am the one willing to accept reality. Reality & even the most flattering Soviet written history does not favor my personal favorite aircraft in this subject.
That is reality.
Sure, we can talk about the Mig-29 SMT’s radar. That is a legitimate radar for “PD HMD”.
