Could you post the link to the bug report? Because I couldn’t find it online and many people pressing “I have the same issue button” might help fixing it quickly
did you hit the cobra button? from my experience at maximum stick deflection it should pull 8Gs at best. Unless you ovveride the deflection limits of course.
MiG-29 has no “Cobra button”.
It does, although it is not called Cobra button if you try turning off “Stick deflection limiter” and “Damper disable”. you will get what i mean.
The current performance of the mig29smt is shameful, the mig29 9.13 is also kinda bad rn, the r73s are great but they seem to be easier to dodge with a few flares than the aim9m, you try to do some small maneuvers to get out of the way of the aim9m and you are already at 700km/h, it’s truly miserable to play with this plane, generally I do more duels than playing air rb but not even duels are possible because both planes are just bad rn :(
The limiter is overcome irl by pulling harder on the stick. Flight control system limitations irl do not stop cobra… just limit roll control to ailerons only for high alpha above 14°.
they completely botched Fulcrums. Reminds me the days of MiG-23M. Giving it a week until they either fix or buff some other aspect of the aircraft.
yeah, with the 9.13 you can still try to do some stuff but you can’t stay in a prolonged fight for anything, otherwise you’ll start falling from the sky, it seems that the mig’s flaps are also no longer effective in making you gain a little more turning capacity at the cost of speed, now they only cost speed and don’t help you turn

yeah they broke all the mig29s fm, I think the only thing that was needed was the f16 fm buff (although I still think for 1v1s the f16 fm was and still is the best, especially the block 10) for air rb it’s debatable but they didn’t need to make the mig29 useless and depend 100% on its weapons
I disagree, the F-16 exhibits zero instability at AoA more than double what was possible in real life without pitch-out departure. It’s severely overperforming in-game.
oh yeah i saw your posts about this issue, i totally agree with you, from what i know the f16 isnt a stable aircraft att all, shouldnt be doing that without consequences, imo shouldnt even win in 1 circle against the 29
Both planes similiarly equal to each other in real life and this should be the case in wt but instead Mig29’s Fm butchered and F-16’s Fm buffed too hard.
Comparing 9-15 and 9-12 just by mass and engines is useless, 9-15 has upgraded and quite different airframe.
that’s exactly why I was asking for charts. If the airframe was the same then I could do the math accounting for the extra weight and the more powerful engines.
Still the 9-15 has probably much better performance
You want find anything. Su-27 and MiG-29 9-12 airframes are last planes for Russia that can be modelled properly, all others modern russian fighters fms will be mostly divinations and fantasy.

Maybe Gaijin can get more sources than we can… anyway not that it really matters since they managed to make MiG29s rate worse than F4Es now lol
Sorry for asking again but if you made a bug report for the current MiG29 flight model could you share the link for it? Because I can’t find it and in general more people having the same issue usually helps the devs notice it quickly
