Well unfortunately there’s not much we can do about it, we can only pray and hope that they’ll eventually update the instructor and the sad part is that we can’t really report against it as it’ll mostly likely be considered a suggestion.

All reports are suggestions, just weird wording on that last report. They say they’ll fix it… Just not when.
It’s also not the instructor that is the issue… The actual FM is busted underneath. You think it’s crazy in air RB? Lol try sim.
Just like how the god damn R27ET cannot lock a 1200 C* target at 10 KM , having a barely better lock range than the R-73 , got reported by you for too short lock range , got acknowledged 3 months ago with 0 change. Just “acknowledged”
But isn’t the mig29 fm correct? I heard that in SIM it can win against these fighters 1c, well except agains the f16

İt will lose to F-14B , Mirage 2K and F-16 in a short range fight in SİM , that’s like , all of top tier.
F-14B FM is actually god tier imo, if you use manual wing control.
Your only hope is you get a somewhat rear aspect shot in R-73 and pray to God it ignores the flares. İf your 1st shot misses you are dead
In sim? I thought that without the instructor it could win against those, at least in 1c. 2c the mig should be able to rate equal to the f14b…
F-16s (which is %95 of the team US is on) will win both 1c and 2c so even if my other assessments were to be wrong it wouldn’t make a difference. (need an actual friend with sim setup to test with instead of test driving all these vehicles in full real control and comparing my experience since you can’t find anything else to fight in SIM battles , only F-16s)

Yeah I don’t think instructor is the issue for MİG-29 necessarily. İt simply trades energy too inefficiently for too little gain. İf it had insane nose authority but lost a lot of speed it would be fine. But it loses too much speed for too little nose authority. Meanwhile the F-16 is too efficient. Losing a lot less speed for as much if not more AOA at <1000 KMH.

Who called you a madman lol, I always thought the F-14 FM was amazing (realistic or not I have no clue) the B solved the problem of weak engines as well.
Anyone who thinks F-14B FM isn’t great is smoking some exotic stuff

So wouldn’t be better for the instructor to be updated? Currently the fulcrum can’t win against neither 4th gen both 2c and 1c (rb-wise), IMO it would be cool to have a more dynamic playstyle with mouse aim.
