Russia uses a lot of thermal stuff from France so it wouldn’t be surprising. I mean they gave germany missiles they never had so at this point even a mock up makes more sense
Not the ka52, still busted as hell. But vikhrs are less effective against planes. Kind of annoying that manpads are dogshit (Well no access to r74m either)

they should give KA-52/MI-28 R-73 at least. Igla is utter garbage
A well flown CAS F-16C is unkillable, can kill any air targets with invisible 9Ms while carrying 8 ordinance for ground. Avoiding all SPAA with speed and altitude. + Thermals and an actual targeting system, unlike garbage SMT reticle and the garbage KH-29T that locks the ground because of the new fog in the game half the time.
All of the MANPADS missiles should be buffed in G-pull, but Gaijin thinks its impossible that systems that have been shown to hit targets requiring 10+Gs could pull more than 10Gs

That’s accurate (There’s documentation for the Stinger being a rolling airframe missile as is the Strela and Mistral) They just decided that none of those systems can pull as much as they can IRL

But they add the TY-90 anyway lol. Also IGLA is the worst, it does not even have an ucaged seeker, its like an AIM-9B when firing. At least you can lead with mistral and stinger.
TY-90 isn’t a rolling airframe, its like the Strela (Vehicle)'s missile and all the other normal a2a missiles in-game
True but Igla should benefit from MANPADS maneuvering ‘fixes’ as much as the Stinger and Mistral. Idk if the seeker is realistic or not tho

Likely is. ATAS is a stinger version for helicopters, so having an uncaged seeker makes sense. The iglas we have are also earlier variants iirc

I was watching the missile fly at a funny angle thanks to the new camera and DLSS was blurring the fins making it look like it was rolling
Hellfires have been broken for just as long, they just keep marking the old reports as duplicates of new reports for the same issue over and over again without acknowledging.
I found the F-14 on launch against the MLD to be a fair fight, since then both the MLD and F-14 have seen improvements so I’d need to see where they’re at now.
The difference once again came to ordnance… the F-14 had more missiles with better range… the MLD’s R-24R’s were deadly at close range and the R-60M’s were better than the AIM-9H’s for dogfighting or the furball.
There is a larger disparity in performance from MiG-29 to F-16 currently in favor of the F-16… and according to y’all the F-16 has superior ordnance (I disagree, but whatever).

I think the case of hellfires is GAIJIN being unable to code it. Adding an uncaged seeker is simple as hell
