I still HATEEEEEEEE mixed matches , kills the vibe , fighting identical planes isn’t fun , what’s fun is the asymmetry. Also I think GAIJIN does this so people don’t realise how oppressive the US teams would be at top tier AİR RB. İf US fought everyone else (because there are so many us players) people would see how high WR USA is

They had like 90% wr on apex predators launch day. 12 f16s insta GE’d (probably spaded with GE as well) against hordes of 23MLs and maybe after 1 week, 1-2 mig29s with a broken FM, radar, and shit ordenance
USSR didn’t have any rank 8 CAS so they said screw it have 2 questionably useful a2g missiles instead of adding something that would actually be capable of CAS. There must’ve been SOMETHING they could have added for USSR CAS at rank 8 but nothing goes together better than Gaijin and glaring tech tree omissions

As far as I’ve been able to determine they never actually made a home-grown targeting pod for the SMT? I’ve heard that one might have been fitted with a French system but let’s be honest getting your targeting system supplied by a NATO nation was never going to go well.
How did they plan on actually aiming the KH-29TD (or whatever it was called IRL) on the SMT?
helicopters are just spaa food at this point, vikhrs are not what they used to be.

Russia uses a lot of thermal stuff from France so it wouldn’t be surprising. I mean they gave germany missiles they never had so at this point even a mock up makes more sense
Not the ka52, still busted as hell. But vikhrs are less effective against planes. Kind of annoying that manpads are dogshit (Well no access to r74m either)

they should give KA-52/MI-28 R-73 at least. Igla is utter garbage
A well flown CAS F-16C is unkillable, can kill any air targets with invisible 9Ms while carrying 8 ordinance for ground. Avoiding all SPAA with speed and altitude. + Thermals and an actual targeting system, unlike garbage SMT reticle and the garbage KH-29T that locks the ground because of the new fog in the game half the time.
All of the MANPADS missiles should be buffed in G-pull, but Gaijin thinks its impossible that systems that have been shown to hit targets requiring 10+Gs could pull more than 10Gs
