No pilot who has flown both agrees with you. No country wants mig29s lol. No one is upgrading them. Not the Russians. Its obsolete. But we can pretend they are equal here for you.
At the onset, F-16 had no radar missiles and otherwise was not very useful. MiG-29 was much preferred with its’ R-73 and BVR capability. Let’s not forget the F-16 lacked these things.
It was only after the collapse of the Soviet Union and subsequent increase in technological performance of the F-16 that people started buying them in bulk. Upgrade programs like the MLU that brought them up to par with other modern gen4 fighters is what kept them in service.
Had the MiG-29 been upgraded similarly (and in many respects it has)… more people would have bought it. It doesn’t help that along with it are other more modern light fighters that now do the job better… but again… your agenda is showing.

Whaat?Su-27 and MiG-29 again.They were designed to conduct highly maneuverable combat at high angles of attack.at a speed of 650 or more, the Su-27 will have no equal except the MiG-29M.

Because it was designed to be a knife fighting dogfighter with IR missiles and never lose energy. That was the Mafia’s vision “The Blitz fighter”. That is how it performed. That is why the F16 performs so much better armed with just IR missiles and drastically worse with sparrows. GJ knows what they are doing.
The FM is just spiced up to a video game standard. Like everything else.

What’s a Mig35? Yeah everyone is tripping and falling over themselves to buy that… poor combat radius (major reson everyone hates the Mig29) when you can just buy a Flanker… Every country that had mig29s either ended up buying Flankers or wish they bought Flankers.

No I meant the Germans. We all know the Russians are on a budget… The Germans are capable of upgrading Mig29s. I mean they brought them up to NATO standard, didn’t they? It’s just an obsolete aircraft. There is no future in them.
Additionally, Russia has no intention of further developing this “Mig35” or any aircraft based on the Mig29 platform. No one wants to buy them, and it makes zero sense when there is a superior platform that has much future sustainability, longer range and one of the most aerodynamically perfect designs known to man.
The Flanker will be flying just as long as F15EX. But for China.
