Iraqi and Libyan have been confirmed to use CMs by images. In any case, If those jets were equipped with them, then these CM pods were tested in the USSR first.
It shouldn’t even be a question of whether the PD gets CMs. IT MUST GET THEM, regardless of whether the USSR used them operationally or not.

Nice, probably the unique aircraft of the patch so far, kinda sad it’s gonna need 40k points every 2 days to unlock, but eh it is what it is…
In sim its much less points.
but Sim requires a more… special mindset to play somewhat optimal. (Personally I cant, because I cant wrangle M&K controls for it)

What to expect from these? What are their stats looking like.
Not sure on the specifics but they are basically bomber killers, sort of like Phoenix missiles but SARH/IR.
IIRC they have a high max range around 60km but chances are they will be effective to about 30~km in-game given the map sizes. But I remember seeing somewhere about them having a limit on when they will start to turn to track a targets, I think it was somewhere around 2km they had to first travel before they would turn (might be wrong but I’d imagine someone will inevitably correct me if I am wrong). They have a large warhead, about 50kg (looking online some sites say 50kg and some say 70kg).
