Problem is that IRL it’s not a standalone system.
Switching mode is not implemented in game. Adding it as standalone missile can be good alternative to moment when switching will be available.
Indeed a problem. I believe they can simply allow the missiles to launch without lock, to activate this “direct-impact” mode. In a similar way to how unguided-rockets are used.
The Libyans did strap bomb adapters to its existing R-40 pylons, to carry MiG-25RB bombs. I got a picture in the armament section. That jet actually flew and went on a bombing mission. Problem is that jet crashed on this very same first mission. 😅

the mig-25 has a bigger thrust to weight ratio, and has incredible acceleration and climb rate.
I dont know what reality you live in, an f-104 is faster and more maneuvreable? It is neither.

The dev stream already confirmed my post as containing correct information.
Mig-25PD TWR is 0.55:1 [confirmed] to 0.7:1.
F-104G’s TWR is 0.92:1.
F-104G pulls 7 or more Gs.

Cant wait to see av8 vs mig 25 1v1. Slight speed difference of 2x mach.
It got for some reason 2x ASO-2 (64x small caliber flares). I never heard that any MiG-25 ever carried them.

I’ve seen many photos and other evidence that it does in my memory (could possibly be other flare systems too)
I’m not that interested in the aircraft, so I did not have them saved, but they are out there for sure
I am aware that the MIg 25 carries countermeasures. It simply carrying the wrong ones.
As csla pointed out instead of large caliber flares it’s 2x pods of small caliber flares.
One big row of flares vs the two small pods we see on dev server.
Also as Racim also pointed out it’s also carrying half as many as it could.

Here you can see KDS-155 on real one MiG-25PD (left wing).
And here on MiG-25PDZ (right wing).
I never saw MiG-25 of any version with ASO-2 dispensers and I doubt you will find any evidence of them for the MiG-25.
