Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-25 & MiG-31 Foxbat / Foxhound - History, Design, Performance & Dissection

Isn’t it’s Mach limit like Mach 3.2 clean
We don’t see such faults in war thunder so I don’t see the point.

For mig-25pd? For typical service? Nope.

I recommend just reading over the English flight manual, you can find it on google

I gave su27 example for this specific fault

Sounds sus

The automatic is automatic tracking. Manual is slewing the antenna. But with the same az scan limits,

That’s the manual that instructs pilots on the best way to fly the plane, rather than the technical manual that describes the actual flight characteristics of it.

So it shouldn’t have acm right?

It does both, not just one. Dont be disingenuous please

It shouldn’t. I don’t see anything, t̶h̶e̶ ̶c̶l̶o̶s̶e̶s̶t̶ ̶t̶h̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶i̶s̶ ̶a̶ ̶9̶ ̶a̶z̶ ̶s̶c̶a̶n̶ ̶b̶u̶t̶ ̶t̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶n̶u̶m̶b̶e̶r̶ ̶i̶s̶ ̶s̶o̶m̶e̶w̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶t̶a̶l̶k̶e̶d̶ ̶l̶i̶k̶e̶ ̶a̶n̶ ̶a̶n̶g̶l̶e̶ ̶b̶u̶t̶ ̶i̶t̶ ̶n̶e̶v̶e̶r̶ ̶h̶a̶s̶ ̶a̶ ̶u̶n̶i̶t̶.̶ ̶L̶e̶t̶ ̶m̶e̶ ̶p̶u̶l̶l̶ ̶a̶ ̶S̶S̶ ̶i̶n̶ ̶a̶ ̶b̶i̶t̶

NVM, its just the elevation scan zone

I’m sorry then what is stuff like this then? Is this not technical characteristics of the plane? The manual does both. Have you read through the manual?

My bad, but the speed limits are the theoretical part of it.

I recommend just reading the entire manual first to paint a better understanding

Didn’t mean to, I’m not paying much attention to this thread honestly

Ka-Bot’s video is enough on the characteristics of the plane, he presents official technical documentation in Russian for the full actual flight characteristics of the plane

Wasn’t that the F-15 engines that last like a couple months in service after it was found they were extremely unreliable and then promptly replaced with another engine?

Every F-16 up until the F-16[A/B]-10 used the -100, then they moved to the -200 after about 2 years of service.

F-15s kept -100s, as the upgrade to -200 was incremental and pretty damn costly. They were really only “replaced” in '85 when the -220 became standard, then from then to the early '90s all older F-15s were modified to the -220E standard.

It was a purely mechanical engine, which itself was far behind the R-15 in terms of reliability and technology.
The reason why I said the -200 would be a better counterpart is because of its reliability. Still lacked the DEEC of the -220 and general governing ability of the R-15B, but it matched it in depo interval and lut component lifetime.

XF5U came as a premium vehicle

That’s because it’s not above rank 5

oh they only do that below rank V huh
