yeah its cool it runs windows but you launch the games thru xbox. somthing called xbox full screen expierence
so does the Mig-25’s wings just explode if it exceeds that limit?
i dont think so, becasue otherwise it wouldnt have been able to go mach 3.5
no it doesnt ofc not. but other planes in game are modeled like this. for example, for su27, the wings explode in game above its mach safety limit. while IRL it wasnt the wings but engines that would simply not work anymore (reduce lifespan). but in game its modeled as if its wings explode.
So what im doing is keeping it parity with other planes in tihs regard
because there is no source stating how fast the Su-27 can go
but its almost like that there is recorded evidence that the mig-25 was able to go faster
okay another example is mig-23ml. irl it was able to go mach 2.5 or even up to around 2900 kph but in game its limited to mach 2.4
then report it
True, I’d trust him on the MiG-25s capabilities
no im not because gaijin stopped accepting reports for mig 23 sustained. after riderr2 reported it they simpply left it overperforming. same with f5. why report stuff thats just gonna sit unactioned. i was gonna report mig 23 ml overperforming, even got the videos for it just to realize its fruitless because gaijin doesnt wanna change the mig 23. but mig 25 theyre willing to listen so i can report it.
ah yes you want the mig-25 to underperform in regard to what it was recorded to be able to do IRL
no im doing it cause that’s how it was in service but yeah if u wanna go that route, then sure, but again im doing it off the limits for service. which is fair to the other planes in game. if gaijin wanna listen then they wanna listen but if they don’t then they dont wanna. i just do the report, it is up to them to take action. Unlike what they’re doing with mig23s and f15
becasue for other planes its the only known values
you have aknowledged that the Mig-25 is able to go faster than mach3 irl
you arent doing this for historical acuraccy you are doing this becasue you are petty
because limiting the plane below what it has shown to be able to do isnt historically accurate
look man if you think im wrong then u can go report it being mach 3.5 for mig25 reconnaissance variant same with the 1300 ias on the deck for the rb variant
its service accurate which is what i care about
you apparently dont because a mig-25 did hit mach3+ while being in service
and?
gaijin bases rip speeds for every plane on the maximum allowable speed from the flight manual if its accessible.
so why should they not follow their own conventions for this plane?
ya ik but typical service it was limited to mach 2.83
because we have a higher recorded speed that it was able to achive
it apparently wasnt limited if it was able to exceed that
its the same reason why mig-31 is also limited to mach 2.83 in its flight manual (which i will not be posting here cause idk if its declassified)
and? we have higher recorded speeds for other planes too
but that doesnt matter because thats not what gaijin models based on
