Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-23MS Flogger-E – The Monkey Model Flogger

It wouldn’t make a good base bomber, primarily because it lacks rear fuselage pylons. This significantly limits its bomb load capacity compared to the BN, making it far less effective for base bombing roles.

I should have clarified - Used as a BN in air combat, since I don’t bomb in ARB.

A-10A early BR to 10.0 (Air AB), 10.3 (Air RB) and 10.7 (Air SB)

But 2x AIM-9L

USSR MiG-21Bis BR 11.0 (AB, RB & SB)

MiG-23MS to 9.7 (Air AB & RB) and 10.0 (Air SB) ?

At the end of the day, Gaijin will decide what B.R rating it’ll get.

In one of my earlier drafts for this jet, I had actually suggested adding it to the U.S. tech tree as a premium, event, or squadron vehicle. However, on further reflection, I think it’s better to avoid that approach. Instead, the Constant Peg theme would be best implemented as an optional skin, much like how it’s currently handled for the MiG-21F-13.

I implemented what you suggested. Hope it looks better now.

It is important to note that In the second Gulf of Sidra incident (January 4, 1989), the Libyan aircraft involved were MiG-23MF variants, not the more advanced MiG-23ML or the inferior MiG-23MS models, according to Tom Cooper.

This incident Involved two F-14 Tomcats, from VF-32 “Swordsmen” off the USS John F. Kennedy. They encountered two Libyan MiG-23MF fighters. After tracking and repeatedly trying to avoid them, the Tomcats engaged when it became clear the MiGs were threatening. Both MiG-23s were shot down using AIM-7 Sparrow and AIM-9 Sidewinder missiles.
