i would argue the a10s and j35xs are much more annoying honestly. Especially the latter, hate those.
But nah the mig19s are fine where they are, yeah you will die to all aspects, but thats something you NEED to accept when you fly flareless jets, sometimes you will just… die.

MiG-19 S = 9.0
J-6A=9.3
There is no reason for MiG-19S to be a lower BR.
For good reason, It has fewer missiles than other MIG-19.
And a better flight model and 1 extra gun to compensate, so it stays 9.3
In my opinion the PT is the better package, but anyway, in the current BR system there is no space to change the BR of any variant.
It’s the same problem with the Ariete/Sagittario. They don’t belong at the same BR, but no space for changes.
These advantages are definitely not as great as the advantages brought by two air-to-air missiles.

If you would be able to split cannons on the 19S, I would agree. But currently the third cannon is no advantage at all, in my opinion. If you hit with NR-30, it’s done, doesn’t matter how many cannons you have. Burst time matters. The Mig-21F-13 has only one, and you can do as many kills as with Mig-19s.
Missiles give you way more advantage, if you use them wisely, especially the R-3S. In full uptier you are able to counter 2 all aspect missiles, give you the ability to go headon with A10s. Sure, you can carry rocket pods. But the S-5KP are not that good as CMs.
They are very fast of the rail, beneath 1km full rear aspect at high speed many planes have problems to dodge them.
In full downtiers many players dogfighting at low speeds, easy kills with 9B/R-3S, while it is very hard to aim with cannons at a low speed enemy at high speed. Don’t forget about the bunch of players with zero awareness at this BR range.
No, I have played germany mig19s, I feel its engine is so powerful. Currently fighting with 8.3,8.7 is such an easy thing, its BR can’t be lowered any more. The thing is to increase the BR of those planes have aim9j/9p at 9.7

Missiles are a nice tool to have but with MiG-19 I don’t think they’re really necessary. Your FM is crazy enough to carry you even without situationally useful missiles.
