What missiles are you thinking of when you say “can compete with MICA”? PL-15? AIM-120D-3? AIM-260?
Yup, the scummy MCM tactic is completely left out of the discussion in this thread so far.
Yeah they can intercept but rafale can always jsut shoot a sub 4km mica that will destroy them while in the notch, and su30 cannot intercept that close
As Pardus states, Su-30SM2 can simply delete all of the MICA missiles out of the air before killing the Rafale due to Gaijin’s modeling of radar and missiles.
So your answer is to dodge 10+ missiles and try to get within sub-4km…
Only if you shoot them from more than ~6ish km.
It’s super easy to stay in the notch then shoot a last second missile which the rafale excels at
Very Big “IF”
And what does the MICA’s range being fixed change about any of this? R-77-1 still outranges the MICA even if the MICA’s range is fixed.
???, the mica has a better seeker, better turn, only loses in range, and with a nearly straight line, the mica should have less drag.
Was talking more about the increased turning ability, if I remember right it should be improved by like 80 percent or something over what it currently is with better time to target which I think would come with the new motor and all that.
(Like 60 degrees a second of turning ability to like 100, almost double)
I don’t think they should do it unless they overhaul all fox 3s at once. (Aam4, amraam, r77, etc)
Range idrc about, they can add increased range and I don’t have much qualms about that.
It was probably about the other report about the energy being too low and not doing enough g i guess ?
But at some point people have to move on, an air launched missile at mach 1, can’t meet the GROUND launched capability, that is crazy…
I listed all of the reports for developers to choose the reports that they would like to implement. If you support one of the reports, doesn’t mean you automatically support the implementation of all the other reports either.
But how can you defend reports if you say that an R-77-1 is better than the Mica missile?
Yeah, I’m fine with it getting more range cause r771 exists.
Better time to target and increased hobs capability not really, as it would make the discrepancy between it and amraam jsut utterly comical, I would like to have most missiles fixed in this aspect before mica gets fixed here.
So basically what I’m saying is that I’m fine with mica getting completely fixed if other missiles are also accordingly buffed
Except no AMRAAMs have reports for increased HOBS capability afaik. So are you in favor of indefinitely postponing the resolving/implementation of MICA’s reports? When should it be fixed, when AIM-120D-3 is added? When AIM-260 is added?
Really? Low k surprised, swear i saw one talking about increasing maneuverability to hit a target, might be misremembering then.
Eh if that’s actually true then they might as well fix it now, along with a rework of aam4 and r-77 though, cause at least for those 2 missiles they have outstanding reports on their motor, seekerhead and maneuverability like mica.
Didn’t realize amraam is that cooked lol
Is that supposed to be a bad thing? Rafale players will be isolated and get to enjoy facing themselfs, while everyone else will be free from the Rafale.
With limited vision, Mica can become a missile that complements a range of
missiles, as in the case of Rafale, which can have Mica and Meteor
Mica is still the best missle in the game.
In no way does it need further buffs
