3rd person would be too much for sim, it would be way too much of an advantage. However TVD for GRB in third person might be doable, it’s already possible ingame (as has been seen with bugs in the past).
I was thinking something like that would be how the Barak could be added so it’s different in game from the Windbreaker.

Maybe it can have the option to show the direction if someone shoots at you for longer time maybe even give him red outline

I have been compiling a suggestion post for this, but hard to reconcile Gaijin on it.
But the mk4-400 does have the cameras and is compatible with some of the helmet, but it’s not in use with them as far as i can tell. Probably supply + some tweaks needed.
Pretty much the same thing as the 400, but the optics for gunner and commander are improved, as well as the helmet integration. 400 was a mid step between the 4M and Barak.

But this video does have one exceptional segment to it. As the armor is shared between the 400 and the Barak, we can see in this video the changes to the frontal turret armor. We saw this in the one that got hit with an IED where they added more backplate to the modular armor, then increased the angles and chonkiness of the bottom of the front turret armor. Notice the new angles below the midline. Its sharp and bows out. Looks great.
Yea… it doesnt look like gaijin want to change the merkava armor all tho there is tons of bug reports on it

True all tho if they gonna fix the armor and add the spall liner the merk 4m will be very strong so we wont need the m4m 400 (unless new gen will come like leo 2a8)
But having it would still be nice, as even if they give the Merky the buff of our dreams a lot is still classified, so it would still have like, 650 mm KE protection tops.

I mean, technically we have the IDF saying “no modern anti=tank weapon has the power to frontally penatrate it”, and the Germans publicaly admitting the Mk.4 is better armored than all their Leos, and the fact that Merkavas survived the most unbelievable situations, and the fact that it weighs ~70-75 HELLING TONS, but ya know, logic is not enough nowdays. Just think about chkens for kfc
