I’ve been saying this for a while it’s kinda insane that this shares a BR with the Sabra. The letter needs to be 10.0. I think the Mk.2D could receive M426 to compensate for the higher BR compared to the 2B. That or move it to 9.3.

the only thing you need on an urban map or plain terrain is pretty much the reverse gear.
i forgot about the sabra, its a better pick compared to the mk2d.
If you’re sitting out in the open, the only thing you get is a quick death.

well well, the reverse gear is not saving you if you’re in the open, fast or not if you’re assuming the person is spotted i don’t think a faster reverse gear is gonna save you.
The point there was not to sit out in the open.

well then there’s not really any point, it’s going pretty much out of the topic of why the mk2d should go to 9.3
And back on topic, the Merkava 2D is still exceptional as it is, where it is.

well it’s pretty much the same way as why ariete players are better than abrams players, it’s not the tank at all, it’s the players.

yeah that’s my point the merkava players are good enough for it.
but in the end it’s just a 9.3 tank at 9.7
And in this situation, by itself without any player influences, the Merkava Mk.2D is a great MBT at 9.7.

well, as good as you play in the mk2d, you would do the same in the mk1/mk2.
