It took 6 days to nerf Challenger 3 (TD)’s engine from 1500 hp to 1200.
It’s taking months to fix the 1200 value to 1217.
It took a few days to nerf M735 on a wrong bug report.
It’s taking over a year to fix it on the correct bug report that was made immediately after the nerf.
Always the same story…
It took Chinese players nearly 3 years to get ZTZ99A fixed, now the model is right, but Gaijing added holes in the turret, and hull armour -200 KE -400 CE. LOL I wonder if it is a fix or a nerf in the name of a fix.
Are they ever going to fix French Israeli or Chinese tanks, meh.
Remind me in 5 years when this thing is still not fixed.

The Merkava series is notably one of the harder top tier MBTs ingame to one shot. Although you’re likely to be disabled or have a crew member or two killed, losing 3 or more is something I rarely experience.
It’s mainly playing engine repair simulator and firefighter simulator.
Losing the engine is better than losing both the engine and FCS (cough abroomz and massive turret ring)
True but Abrams has a lower profile and can actually fit in a lot of spots on the map, plus it has better turret cheek protection. Merkava is big it should have better armor values to offset its massive profile. Otherwise the Merk 4M is a fun machine, I like how it looks different tank than other nations, adds variety.
I think we need to focus on the actual weight of the vehicle, its 80 tonnes, and it might drive them to revisit the armor. I’d rather have a slow, protected vehicle, than a literal magach level of protection at top tier.
M4s have big spot for one shoting from front. I dont know if bigest from all 12.0, but its huge. My point is… you are kinda slow all green blob if you get shot anywhere you lost something there is almost no bad shots on M4s. On other 12.0 you have to be more precise. Its good at defending on some spots (fast 360 traverse and ok/fast reload) but thats about all.
i made a report on this topic before and found irl pictures and documents, yeah i dont know why gajins delaying it, they have all the evidence. Plus the merkava weighs 80 tons and not 65 tons, and gajin’s reason for its bad armor is because its too big and weighs the same as other tanks(it doesnt)

I always lose both at the same time in the Merkava and Abrams. Even when I’m shot side on, I somehow lose my Engine and Turret Ring in my Merkava lol

Presumably, the 80 ton figure is including “additional equipment”, but not even sure what it’s supposed to be.
I have a source, unacceptable to gaijin of course, but ive spoken with a master gunner in the IDF armored corps. He says the full weight of the Merkava 4 is 85.7 tonnes. Which is incredibly heavy. He also said every piece of the modular armor has explosives in the last layer of the composition. I wish he could provide legally declassified material, but unfortunately, there isnt any.
Well, the most annoying thing here is that Gaijin draws armor for many cars and characteristics with the help of fantasy. And the Merkava was unlucky to be a poorly planned gaijin tank. One can only imagine that Merkava could be even more effective than my K/D 2-3
