With more and more SM tanks coming, it would be cool if you already have the normal premium version of a tank and then also buy the SM version, that you get something :3

My only issue as consumer is lack of locales for crew voices. Other than that, its same premium pack but with extra skins I can enable/disable.
And f2p players arent losing anything anyway, its copy of existing premium tank which is copy of existing tt tank. Its not smth like t58 which you cant get unless you pull out your wallet. Or a6 intruder which is prob most p2w thing in wt atm.

They’re really going out of their way to promote, what, a few anime skins on already existing vehicles ?
What is so important that makes them market it in the same way and quantity as major updates ? Makes no sense to me.
It’s mainly down to people who like anime are more likely wanting to buy a tank that is marketed to them rather than just a standard MBT where people will just buy these standard one on sale.
I guess it brings some good money then, maybe even more than default packs do. Otherwise they would logically stop this anime thing after first 3 packs.

Fair point but its not something huge I think. And it doesnt have any impact on gameplay. Unlike paywalled jet which is immune to aa and can pick off 4 or 5 targets which pose most threat to allies.

Considering their limited number of games, I don’t know if anime premiums are doing all that impressive though. Maybe they want to push out their own anime series or something later.

There’s no reason to artificially oppose something that doesn’t negatively impact projects.

At the end of the day I think they’re just in this for the love of the game. This is the studio behind X-Blades, after all, at least in theory.
Well if you don’t like Senrai Maidens take some time and write a suggestion of what you want to see. Gaijin cannot read your mind and that’s for the best. I wrote a few suggestions of what I want to see in the Events section anyone can write one.
(FYI infantry is still a no go zone even for events)

for real guys if you dont like it then turn off the setting for fictonal camouflages. i mean its also not realistic that a tiger II faces ATGMs now is it? them adding some anime stuff, from their OWN IP I might add, is not the end of the world.

10 years ago the player base was mainly composed of military history enthusiasts and players specifically attracted by authenticity. The average player was probably older and far more interested in historical immersion and less into cartoons/inaccurate things

The new Senrai Maiden picks are out and British/Japan got their premium counterparts (Type-90B and Challenger 2 OES) but China got a weird selection of MBT-2000 with a disadvantage of only having Gen 1 thermal. As far as I know the tech tree version of MBT -2000 is a little worse than Al-Khalid-I (modernized MBT-2000) that has already been a top tier premium for the longest time in China. Why it seems so specific when it comes to the Senrai Maiden selection for China? I personally am not a fan of any anime themed titles or games but I myself picked up the last 3 bundles when they got out, simply for having a backup premium vehicle for grinding. But this time the anime MBT-2000 will not do the job as much as it could have been. I am just confused.
Anyone got an idea?
Looks like the maximum BR for senrai maiden vehicles its 12.0
China does not have 12.0 tank, so they chose a 11.7 tank instead. It could also be a ZTZ96B which would be more reasonable tho.
About UK its interesting bc they have a Chally 3 at 12.0, but for senrai recieved a chally 2 at 11.7
They probably didnt pick up the ztz96B because it is the newer premium, it was just added in this current update
Type-90B, Challenger 2 OES, Al-Khalid-I, ZTZ96B all are 11.7 tanks. Yeah, ZTZ96B would be a more welcome choice for the anime packs but it is also kinda of new here. Still, cannot figure out why its MBT2000…
