Air Sim has different BRs to ARB, the BRs change when you have Simulator battles selected at the top, which occurs after playing NE because it is located under simulator battles. So you may not notice and create a lineup based around Air Simulator ratings.
When you actually select NE, the BRs update for the ARB ratings, and this may result in being a higher bracket.
For example
Hunter F6 (Britain) is 9.7 in Air Sim, but 10.0 in ARB, if you dont realise this and make a line up for 9.7 with the F6, and then queue for the match, you are actually queuing for 10.0-11.0, not the 8.7-9.7.
TLDR, NE needs its own button in the gamemode drop-down.
It will not get it’s own button (at least not in the current state).
You can simply select Realistic BRs to be visible in tech tree if you confuse modes.
Alright i tested it. There are split brackets. Someone should you know, put that in the actual game because its pretty misleading in its current state saying just 8.7-11.0
Many may not know that exists as many dont play Air Sim and dont know the BRs will be different.
Most likely leave it on autoselect.
So its something that needs to be reviewed, but is a strong possibility why people are finding themselves in the upper bracket, with a lineup they thought was in the lower one
So AA can intercept your bombs now without even shooting at them
Also stealth just doesn’t work on the F-117 the AA see you without any issue at all because they still aren;t using their search radars to actually search for players.
Yep, also they still don’t bother actually using their radars to search for targets they still just know where you are, case in point the F-117’s stealth just doesn’t work.
M163’s and Shilka’s very much should not be able to detect and engage stuff like bombs and missiles. Especially the M163. The M163 doesnt even have a search radar, just a tracking radar. Its detection ranges should be aignificantly lower and engagement ranges also significantly lower
I mean I was at the middle of the map up high with the bomb bay doors closed, the AA doesn’t care about using it’s radar so it has no issues against stealth.
the reaction speed of these gun AA is so slow that you can overwhelm them easily with just 2 munitions, it’s not that big of a deal and there is no reason to skip the whole game mode for that alone
JSOW’s are stealthy IRL but in the last test they just made it so AA wouldn’t fire at them until they were much closer.
The F-117 stealth does work against radar controlled by players but not the AI since the AI quite literally cheats by knowing where everything is from the server.
