now f-18a and c models in the game. cf-18 will def fit. we can have two versions of it. a early cf-18a and late model. we could get a cf-18a with similar loadout to the f/a-18a and a Australian hornet for the later model with the aim-120.
i have a feeling we may see the Aussie hornet before the Canadian one at this point. only Canadian plane we got is that cl-13 in the German tree…
There are currently 5 major upgrades that the CF-188 could be based on.
CF-188: F/A-18A “C&P” (mostly)
CF-188 IMP I: F/A-18A+
(I don’t have an equivalent to that I can think of off the top of my head for the next ones, at some point it can get the loadout of the Super Hornet.)
CF-188 IMP II:
CF-188 HEP I:
CF-188 HEP II:
I do agree with this, tho my take slightly differs, bing the CF-188 should be the legacy Hornet and the Aussies with the Super Hornet after that.
There are 3 CL-13s in-game.
Two are in Germany, Mk 5 and 6, and one is in Italy, Mk 4. One of the Spitfires in the UK should be flying the Canadian flag.
Sotra, a few UK vehicles at least used to have Canadian skins as their base, from old WT Reddit posts.
If you’re talking about the one that should be Canadian, it’s a Spitfire FR Mk XIVe.

close enough i guess. Doubt we will see later canadian hornets now that we have the spicier HUGs from australia, one of which is the HUG to get ASRAAM integration, which will be the most powerful hornet in game once we see such missiles
Ya, hence why the “C&P” one was our only chance for a TT one. As the Aussies upgrade, one fills the upgraded Hornet better, and after that, they have Super Hornets.
There was a smart way of adding them in this update that everyone but Gaijin can see, apparently.
edit: also that would require Gaijin to give the HUG the missiles it was known for, as Gaijin could decide it fine at its current BR and without the missiles due to their “weapons are balance” thing.
