Why is it missing its rudder in the first picture lol?
That was already explained. It was because the thrust vectoring was good enough to negate the need for a rudder :)

The EF can still be fitted with TVC that would increase the cost though and as it is a damn manuverable plane without it i could think they just safe the money

We are more reliant on long range missiles handling the enemy before they get close, then short rabge missiles like the 9x then guns…. They should have 3d thrust vectoring tho
