Now that top tier is absolutely filled with CAS slinging high speed AGMs, it’s time for CAP loadouts to become cheaper especially when Top tier SPAA can’t handle them all. Most of my games now are filled with 15Es and especially Su-34s where at least 3 spawn the moment they die and start slinging directly from spawn. The only possible counter now is CAP but how the hell are people going to spawn with CAP when their SP costs at least ~600 without playing with something without spotting first. If gaijin added something, then they should also implement something to counter that.

In my experience cap is pretty cheap already. Being 550 sp at toptier and any lower will make cas extrememly difficult to play.
And most toptier fighters dont need ground belts to bully light tanks, spaa, etc. So if they’re cheaper itll just increase the swarm of planes
ARH could be cheaper but IR is already cheap, like 60sp.
IR just mostly won’t cut it. You really need to be within ~5km to reliably take out CAS especially with them having tons of CM and ECM.

Personally, i prefer using IR. Most times my aim120 gets dodged but the aim9m is more reliable.
Of course this is just personal preference.
Also CAP needs to generate ground RP, not air RP when destroying air targets.
As it stands right now, flying out your yak, spitfire or bf109 to take out the swarm of p47s or f4us punishes you severely - much more so than dying to cas would! If you die to cas, you’ve invested all your time alive to ground research towards the ground vehicle you want.
If you fly CAP, all the score you gain is wasted and goes to air research… which is at a very pitiful reward rate compared to ARB (not to mention what if you already got all the planes you want for that rank so the RP gets reduced even further by rank differences).

Did you spawn with something that can spot? If not then that’s crazy because the same loadout on the 16C costs 749 SP
The only way to do this is to put in a timer that starts at 3 minutes.
After ~3 minutes of match play, SP for CAP loadouts progressively gets cheaper until ~10 minutes where it’s as cheap as SPAA.
CAP loadouts already get cheaper when using light tanks, so it’s not fair to light tank players if you take away their feature entirely.

Gaijin should reduce the spawn cost of interceptors which are otherwise unsuitable for CAS because of their large size and low agility.
I meant the ground vehicle you used to get SP. A 12.7 game costs me 739 SP for your loadout.
550? I have never seen it this low, without using a scout vehicle to lower the SP cost. (Which, playing Israel where my only ‘’‘‘light’’‘’ is Namer, isn’t too easy).
Costs me mid 700’s to bring F-16D / F-15I with ARH+IR.

yeah, except they can be on your team or the enemy chooses not to spawn them, its not impossible
I would very much rather get strafed with guns than getting sniped from 20KM away with nowhere to hide especially in open maps and have some bs like this happen everytime
This is from a single person btw, the team was then pounded by half a dozen CAS including a heli that had a full AT loadout just from 1 death and 1 assist. I don’t give a damn if there will be a swarm of jets with CAP loadouts, what are they gonna do anyway, fire their missiles at ground? If CAS wants easy kills then they’re gonna have to fkn fight for it.

poor Chaparral.
Since the F15E and the su-34 were added, ive taken a long extended break from 10.0+ because of how stupid easy it was for people to hop in them and instantly turn the tide of a battle, whether spaa is up or not and until their br’s are changed, im not sure i’ll return.
