MT now has LOAL functionally, so you can ripple them into the spawns from safety without ever being in the LOS of the enemy SPAA, this weapon is beyond busted.

Is there any plans for the Premium F/A-18C Early to get Aim-120?
Well… sorry, but a lot of them already in the game, so why nations left should suffer without it?
Not if it works like the only other IR + GNSS weapon, the SBU 64 hammer, then it’s actually not possible to use the GNSS guidance mode at all. Trying to fire the weapon will force the seeker on, and you will need either a TRK or POINT lock to release it, requiring LOS. On the devstream when the hammer was added as well, it was also mentioned that if fired in GNSS mode, it will not try to turn on the seeker for LOAL abilities, granted it doesn’t work in that mode at all right now, but if it did, then it still wouldn’t LOAL for balance.
The only benefit now is that once it loses lock, and goes to IOG, it has 0 drift. Though someone could test right now on live, because it may already have 0 drift anyways. If not, then that’s a buff I guess. The 38ML can be fired without LOS and use LOAL (which requires LOS) as before, so nothing changes apart from the inertial drift (that may or may not again have already been 0).
EDIT: misrememberd a bit, you can release it without a proper seeker lock, but the missile doesn’t work as it still tries to use the seeker and flies straight. A similar bug happens with SALH + GNSS weapons if you have laser enabled on launch. I don’t know if they fixed this bug, but likely still no LOAL due to balance.

So the bad F-18, I mean the F-18C for Finland doesn’t get the C-5, is still 14.0 and the MLU2 isn’t even folderd?! Now it’s just worse in every way at the same BR.

Shouldnt this also apply to the Leopard 2K, since it also uses the Rh202? Or was the Leopard 2K’s RoF already correct to begin with?
What about the Aim-120C-5 for the Eurofighter Typhoon’s?

It should get them as its US equivalent, the F-15E is getting them. It definetly carried them, in fact the Typhoon FGR4 probably exclusively used Aim-120C5s until Meteor entered service.
The issue is, the Typhoon is percieved to be this OP, can do anything aircraft and thus is rather heavily nerfed at the moment and the community seems to be completely against it getting any buffs or fixes.
Loadouts are always a balancing decision so we’ll have to wait and see if the Typhoon gets the better wepaon or not, but as it currently stands Im doubting it will, which will mean that ontop of all the other nerfs and issues the Typhoon has to deal with, it will also have to deal with being outclassed in A2A by literally everyone else at 14.0 by having the weakest ARH AAM

Anyone noticed israel F15C’s radar been replaced by the origin anapg63 psp?
I find it a decent plane all around (except maybe at CAS potential) but if it’s up to me, it should get C5s regardless.
IMHO community’s takes are becoming increasingly meaningless and hyperbolic each update, now everything is either DOA or meta-changing, when there’s arguably a significant amount of variables to consider along the way. In theory Gaijin won’t fix EFs CAS potential this time so C5s could be the improved selling point.
To be completely fair, most of the community’s takes also fall under at least one the next three principles:

People that haven’t played the vehicles/platforms they’re complaining in the first place.

Folks that do have played them, had a bad performance though relates to other experienced players to back their claims (just the classic argument from authority)

Overly biased users to whatever nation they’ve invested most of their playtime.

yes a total nerf, no DL, no Radar HMD, no NCTR, no TWS, no DL channels, i hope that after this change the Python-4 becomes really considered for this jet.
