Major Update “Leviathans” — DEV Server Changelog (30.05.2025) - server is now locked

The main question of update is constant Naval server crashes will be fixed. The problem is year+ long.

https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/zsFl4JaROpgu

Just get another one crash

https://warthunder.com/ru/tournament/replay/349627071087345145?public_key=UOWlwLc8M1wOUKRPSEy9

And don’t tell me that is network problem(like your “bugreport managers” state closing all report on this problem) cause it crashed for all players.

If i have understood things correctly: That is how i works for all missile carries in game, none of them change colors on the tubes when changing color on the vehicle. It’s not a bug because that is how it is intended to work for every vehicle.

Oh, nvm then. If it is as real as F-16AJ it can come but Sweden has cas options around there, or options that can be filled by Hawk or Gnat

Dev Server will stay opened until Wednesday, 11th June.

Can the developers comment on why the game completely ignored the existence of HE for british 381 mm?
With the introduction of Britain’s last battleship (on which I note they were used

) we got a situation where not a single 381mm operator unit from the earliest to the latest was unworthy of this type of projectile.

It’s because the ground launched version is being stationary-launched. The air launched version can be launched from an aircraft going at supersonic speeds. Higher launch speed gives you a higher top speed, as well as more range.

This is also why the AIM-120C-5 has a 120km range when air launched, but only a 25km range when ground launched.

Ans somehow the iris-t slm rated for 40km range getsbthe same speed as the ground launched amraam thats stated for 25km.
If you think amraams got it bad, tjink again

I would still pick the SLM over the slamraam every day of the week in their current iterations.

Still waiting on the AN/MPQ-64 fixes to be applied, they did add target identification, but only the bog standard “Is it a single or twin engine jet” mode that, for some reason, only NATO gets. This is a modern radar used for CIWS work in some cases, it has to be able to identify even mortar rounds by size and type, there is no reason why it should be unable to properly identify known aircraft by their type.

Then again the AN/APG-86(V)7 is still fully missing the feature so I guess I should be happy this thing was given the ability to at least know what a plane is.

Oh yeah, and the premium US F/A-18C is still a direct downgrade to the Swiss premium one at the same exact BR. Its very disappointing that people don’t see this as a massive issue as gaijin is currently flat out selling a copy paste premium that is just better than another premium shortly after the previous one ran it’s initial sales course. This should not be happening.

GAIJINNNNNNN

LET ME ATTACK GROUND TANKS WITH ASM 1 AND ASM 2…

and my life…is yoursss

If im not mistaken. Only ASM-2 has IR terminal guidance that might be of use vs ground targets

The dependence of the maximum speed on the initial (starting) speed is very low. If launched vertically upwards from a ground start, there can’t be a twofold difference.

How?

Premium F/A-18C unnecessary asymetry - Dev Server “Leviathans” / General Discussion - Dev Server - War Thunder — official forum

Still no fixes for the Roma. Still missing so much stuff

An AIM-9L Sidewinder air-to-air missile fired from a U.S. Navy Bell HH-1K Huey just before it hits an M41 Walker Bulldog at the U.S. Navy Naval Weapons Center (NWC) China Lake, October

That’s because SLM’s motor burns for 15 seconds total, AIM-120C’s burns for 7. SLM’s motor is also more powerful. SLM accelerates faster and stays at its top speed for longer, so it has more range than AIM-120C.

I’m not saying AIM-120C is bad, I’m saying SLM was actually designed for ground launch and AIM-120C was not.
