Both aforementioned missiles are situation-favored, which is a strong characteristic for an ARH and basically every missile back to the very AIM-9Bs.
Which situation favors aim-120A/Bs?
Long range? pray your target is alt+tabbing so it doesn’t literally do anything to get kinematically away from it (as any ARH tbf)
Medium range? you get notched as the width is quite generous.
Close range? No pull at all to achieve anything.
The only comfort zone 120A/Bs have are suprise shots (as most of ARHs) and medium to long range shots, and even then its unreliable and it depends on enemies mistakes, not your correct actions. I don’t get this general cryouts of AIM-120C coming other than ru mains feeling threatened from their recent return to dominance on the BVR ground.

Tbh it does depend, R77-1s are better at close range, but at close range just about everything else has a flight model advantage, close range at top tier is a death sentence
Define close range. Sub 10 km, the ARMAAM is still quite good, and better than the PL-12 because of the longer range. It’s literally only bad below 3km, but it’s not even that bad there.
Because one of the best planes in the entire game is getting a huge buff, and somehow you blame the complaining on Russian mains?? This top tier meta is genuinely balanced with a high amount of parity between all nations, and Gaijin is going to ruin it by making the US the best nation for the billionth time because they weren’t the best for a single update (despite being still competitive).
So all of that justifies the US needing to be on top by miles again? Instead of going for the C1 or C3? And where was russia on top in BVR?
For me, no problem if gajin decompression BR to 14.3 (Air AB, RB & SB mode) for fighter aircraft top tier

Has it been specified that, for example, destroying the two launchers from the SLM will result in 3 technical kills? Would it be 2 kills and then the player J’s out of the radar truck? If the radar truck got hit, would it give the kill to the person hitting it?

Less than 3km. We’re talking situations which you can comfortably could be using IR IRCCM stuff, but no one does anyways because getting stuck with a missile that’s incapable to go beyond 5km is a wasted pylon.

In CAS, it completely is, and in CAP its totally capable to make a run for their money to every single plane on its BR range.

Aim 120s are still one of the best (second only to the aam4 which is slightly better) general purpose fox 3s in the game. Its not a short range god, its not a long range sniper, but it can do everything to a very reasonable degree

It objectively is not balanced, it’s not balanced between the other 14.0s.
The EFTs and Rafales are rampaging and the F-15E genuinely struggles against them. The Hornet barely deserves its 14.0 badge.
I honestly think it fair. Would be fairer if it was coupled with decompression, and fixing the MICA/R-77s.
The F-15E already is better at BVR than the EFTs and Rafales.

It may be better than the Rafale (which comes with caveats; the Rafale is so broken it can keep notching your missiles and close the distance to murder you), but it’s just not better than the EFT.
The EFT is much more agile.
If your missile is not the best within 3km, then don’t put yourself in that situation.
Su30 absolutely cannot carry it’s weight in grb for cap, its gets bodied by the better handling ravioli and ef2k
As for the C5, only american planes get it. I would be somewhat ok with the hornet getting it but not f15e. If any other nation ends up getting a new missile or one of their other missiles unnerfed, its not bcz the snail wants parity between the f15e and everything else, its bcz we are complaining about this blatant double standard
