you said as ground based radar system its not chaffable. its as chaffable as aircraft radars in a general sense. ill just chaff the radar (by notching) like any pd radar, its the expection, not an exception and everyone understands this. when we talk about chaffing a pd radar, it always goes with the knowledge of notching and in this context if you say its unchaffable it would turn the idea into not being chaffable in a notch. everyone knows these basics at top tier
constant response filtering is for maximizing snr and you need 0gate with it. do you even know what is snr?
good luck relocking with that auto mode if youre being notched and chaff is being dumped
like i said if youre being chaffed in a notch your missile will not hit. sure, if you leave it, then you may be able to relock which is not possible in sarh however it does not change the above fact and proper defensive chaffing will trash the missile in this mode.
Oh look, A Draken that should be in TT is Squadron vehicle, guess premium XS wasn’t enough for Gaijin.

Currently only have those 12 CMs as found on the XS. Also only got 1 gun at the moment
I was more concerned about the actual model, as it could have been modelled to be a Saab A 35XD, which to my knowledge would have lacked CMs entirely

It’s a squadron vehicle, imho that’s even better than a TT variant (except for the squadron research time-gate, but it is, what it is)
Yeah, it’s as simple chaff. Notch + chaff is a technique different from Chaff alone.
Eh, i would disagree. Ground radars have a loci, which would be the notch line, which is hard to maintain, but irl they should also have a sort of CW mode, if not the IR track for such situations.
Then you should see how the argument works both ways.

Exactly like it would in the current implementation of SACLOS guidance.
Except for the ACLOS mode, you can guide it all the way until and unless the target notches, in which case you switch to IRST and either use it in a SACLOS way or ACLOS.
Which the Rolands can do (ACLOS via IRST)(dont ask me how, Devil06 knows more about that part)
