So what ? Sniper is going to be the best targetting pod in the game, either restrict it to the f-2 and no one will care that much from the cas loadout it has or give it to everyone that can use it, i was not aware of balancing an aircraft depending of the targetting pod.
Your patience must have been shipped alongside the RB27s for the J35XS :P
If the Gr7 with a Gen 1 Tpod (actually might be the weakest tpod above 12.0) isnt getting its Sniper. Then the Typhoon doesnt stand a chance. Where the Typhoon is concerned, they just want to nerf it as much as possible, especially in A2G
Eurofighter is on same cas level as f15e, so it should get it, Harrier is not related to it.
and on that front. Spear-3s for a GBu-39 equiavalent or Brimstone 2s to give us something half decent where we are limited to SAL only, would be far better hills to fight and die on at the moment. We have nothing to employ where sniper would be of specific benefit.
heck, even just getting GMTI to cue the tpod would be a major start, but alas, Typhoon doesnt look to eb getting that feature (I think the F-2 does for the record)
And Harrier Gr7 id consider on par with the A-10C and it is getting the Sniper.
LITENING III was only introduced just before the Typhoons last year. This pod is more than sufficient for them and is mostly what they all use. It remains possible as we said that more aircraft could receive or come with Sniper in the future.
F-15E, F-16C and A-10C were all using older pods and are being brought up to more recent pods as per feedback.
Everyone should get the upgrade, that is the point.
That is why i complain.
Watch as the AV8B+ gets it
@Smin1080p_WT Sorry to pester you again but you wouldn’t have any idea if the bug with the HVSS suspension on some shermans will be fixed with the update? As on the dev server it was also affecting the M4 included in the Hell on Wheels pack? https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/U44I67P9tScu
I dont have any news on that currently im afraid.
The pod is sufficient for Typhoon the Radar is not.
It troubles me that developers can make comments saying Typhoons TGP is good enough while ignoring all the other shortcomings with the airframe in question?
Which is why the GR7 is such a shame. Being a Subsonic aircraft at 12.0 with the TIALD (just as old and weaker than Litening II and LANTIRN) . Ontop of the Gr7 missing a number of possible loadout options and configuration options and all the Harrier related issues at the moment.
Its typical US mains swaying Gaijin its the F-15E engines all over again.
I dont think the F-16C the US have in game has ever used the sniper pod. F-16 Block 70
Anyway it’s done now
Nothing is being ignored. Many Typhoon reports have been worked on and resolved and will continue to be. I would recommend ensuring any issues are properly reported.
They are, and were 6 months ago.
Other variants of Harrier II remain possible for consideration with the pod in the future. Right now there are no plans for the GR.7 to receive it.
Appreciate the reply, but would have to say Typhoons Radar has been broken since it was added.
Which is the assumption I have come to, that it is being reserved exclusively for the Gr9A to maintain a “feeling of progression”
Still a shame though, as the GR9A has not yet been added and would have been perfect to add anytime in the past 2 years.
It is cleared for nearly every F-16 block and used on US F-16
Speaking of F-16AM, will it get the ability to mount AGM-65s and AIM-120s onto PIDS pylons? It would actually make it somewhat less powercrept while not making it busted either.
