Major Update “Leviathans” — DEV Server Changelog (16.06.2025) - dev server is closed

The Brimstone 1 had 2 modes LOAL and SAL

so the only way for the brimstone we have ingame to be fnf would be to model it’s LOAL

It is almost like the brimstone was the signed to do LOAL on groups of enemy tanks from a safe distance

I think AGM-65D have both a TV and a IIR channel atm, no?

It can lock before launch just like any other LOAL capable missile in game.

I don’t know for sure, please do correct me if I’m wrong about it.
Was just using it’s 12-13km lock range to state it’s advantage over TV missiles.

A Fnf brimstone is a brimstone with mmw

Which would automatically engage enemy tanks without any user input after firing it into a general direction

And it can also lock on before launch.

Gaijin refused to model mmw because they would have to model LOAL as well

They refused to model LOAL because of that, and they refused to model LOBL FnF because of its ability to track through soft cover.

Dev Server is now closed.

And MMW would be totally standoff + FnF, whilst half the kills will be teammates.

Not if LOAL isn’t modelled.

Nope it wouldn’t (if modeled correctly)

The brimstone has target recognition and is able to differentiate between friendly and enemy

The Brimstone has target recognition and is able to differentiate friend and foe

It’s NCTR is limited to just telling which ones are Russian and which ones are NATO. Goes blank against friendly T72s. Especially in case of WT it should work, although the aircraft ones can do it despite IRL incapability; but tbh I don’t want EFTs chucking 15 of them over from 20km away and then just leaving with 10 kills. That would literally be more OP than KH38MT.

@Stona_WT this makes no real sence since the udes unlike the other mentioned vehicles has just 1 launcher
this would make sence for the strf 9040bill

Check again. The base 105 M1, M1 KVT and M1IP have composite screen side skirts along the sides, specifically over the fighting compartment. Past a certain point (from the 5th panel to the 7th on the right, 3rd to the 7th on the left) they are just basic RHA plates.

My neighbour was F-5E ground maintenance during his time of service in the 90th and 200x. He says that the radar APG-69 is correct, but not all aircraft did have it. Not all were equipped due to project cancellation.

Documentation, negative. He could not take something home ;-)

My best guess ist that the 32 aircrafts that we got as part of the RP81 were equipped with then AN/APG-69, while the earlier were supposed to be upgraded, but never completed.
I am pretty convinced that the ones we sold back to US, were those that had the APG-69 because the US themselfs equipped the aggressor squad with this radar. But as a say, thats my best guess. For me it would be a logical move.

As for AIM-9P-5, there is no doubt about it. All Swiss Air Force planes were equipped with it.

Every single IR weapon has a TV channel due to how the game works.

I thought just IIR ones.

Ok, i was not precise enough.
IR weapons whose sight you can access.
