like i said, everyone knows that when we are talking about whether a pd radar can be chaffed or not, it is in a notch. everyone knows this on top tier, no one is clueless. when you would mention a ground radar being unchaffable because of that, as if it is special, people would think the normal way to chaff pd radars (in a notch) would not work. you have to understand that everyone knows how chaffing works here.
more difficult? yes. as chaffable as aircraft radars in a general sense of just do a proper notch and chaff, yes. ir track for those situations might be problematic due to flares being dropped while chaff is also being dropped. yes the pd track is cw.
then it doesn’t really make this radar much different against the things it is being compared to against as a ground radar.
sure id love it to work that way, i wonder if the roland even had irst function in real life, i know the sa-8 didn’t yet it has this ingame. need it anyway for balance though.
It’s a Danish Draken, not a Swedish (or Finnish) one.
Another TT Draken would most likely be a Swedish one, there are plenty of Drakens to choose from, but I wouldn’t expect one to be added anytime soon.
The variant that I would expect to be added next is the J 35F2, as Gaijin finally decided to add AIM-4/26 Falcons (dunno if the J 35J also carried Falcons)

has there ever been any discussion or announcement if any of the new SPAA will be deployed as airfield AA in RB or SIM? particularly in SIM, I think airfields with different levels of protection would spice things up a bit (e.g. 1 main airfield with IRIST or SLAMRAAM and the other airfields kept as-is with rolands)
We’re getting a Danish M24 as a TT tank so I think a swedish plane exported to Denmark could 110% be a TT plane.
But the main reason it should be a TT plane is so that the squadron slot can be reserved for the Austrian 35Ö with all aspect missiles. Austria doesn’t belong to any other nation yet and Sweden has the Austrian 105 as a premium, so an Export Austrian Draken would be perfect as a squadron plane.
Unless gaijin is willing to give Sweden two squadron planes.

I haven’t heard anything about that, but I don’t think Gaijin is gonna upgrade the airfield AA anytime soon lol
They have nerfed the airfield AA so often that it ends up doing absolutely nothing a lot of the time
The US, Germany and Britain all have two squadron planes, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see Sweden getting a second one as well. Though I could totally see the Saab 35Ö turning into a premium lol
I really hope gaijin could reconsider making the F-35 a squadron plane.
Sweden need more TT Drakens and it would be perfect to place after the 105G since that line just ends at rank 5 atm.
Add the 35Ö as a squadron plane instead next update or something, it’s too foreign to be TT but would be absolutely perfect as a squadron plane. It’s unique, has RWR, CMs and all aspect missiles with IRCCM.

Haven’t seen any fixes, well actually they broke something on the Shar I wonder if that counts?
It is extremely unlikely that they would change their mind.
The removal of the ability to spawn on carriers seems to be final, they didn’t change their mind on the specific variant of Rapier they would add (still salty about the lack of an early Rapier, as that would most likely have been better than the current one with the proxy fuze), they didn’t change their mind about the Bhishma and the Indian subtree for Britain, they didn’t change their mind about the turret baskets for the Leos and Abrams’, etc
99.9% chance that the devs won’t even hear about those concerns, sadly

Thinking about it, it’s very likely that the J 35Ö could end up being an event plane
It would certainly suck, but that’s the exact kind of thing Gaijin would do
There is also the recon and trainer variants of the Saab 35XD, which both had a WDNS and pre-WDNS variant, they would be more or less nearly the same as the figher variant we are getting.
It is sad with the carrierspawns. However, with the current positioning of the carriers it is understandable. Perhaps they could add a third carrier behind the airfield, and lock the first spawn to that?

Or get only carrier jets on there, where they can do a bit of calculation for how far behind they should be to compensate for the catapult.

and like i said, i clearly mentioned the missile being immune to it. as compared to SARH. everyone knows that as well
iirc IRST is not very prone to being decoyed by flares unless theyre spammed a whole lot
