Honest opinion? They will not anytime soon.
They don’t even model Python-5 nor Aim-9X properly.

They don’t even model Python-5 nor Aim-9X properly.
They dont even model SRAAMs or Aim-9Ms properly
thats whats i said, you shouldve stated from the start that u can only chaff em in the notch. however you said chaff period as if chaff is the trump card.
^ and thats all u said
so i have a low number of battles using modern radar systems?
constant or consistent response filtering is the filtering of reflections from static objects. while what you call it may vary, its not snr nor a zero gate
because it is, since it doesnt have its own seeker. my statement was correct especially, as you seem to imply, that you are much more knowledgeable about radar systems than me
which any experienced player would…
i believe you are missing a critical aspect of SARH missile and chaff interactions.
if you have ever lost lock due to chaff and relocked the real target, only to have your missile still miss and go for chaff because thats the highest return THE MISSILE could see, then you know what im talking about.
it is precisely this scenario that the RF-CLOS SAMs are immune from. because re-locking brings them back to the real target and does not risk them being led away by the chaff in their FOV
Watch how they are gonna gimp ASRAAM and Mica IR as well.
not to mention how IRIS-T SLM is basically fodder beyond 12km (which it was supposed to help SAM SPAA with)
I am fully prepared for the "We dont see how ASRAAM can achieve such maneuverability without TVC and we think the speed is a marketing lie
Was expecting something like that.
Remember your spaa or Cas planes cannot be better than Russian counterparts.
Ah yes good old western “marketing lie”
“we think…”
“we believe…”
“we assume…”
‘‘We believe KH-38MT is real and its capabilities are realistic’’
Meanwhile there is not a single valid source that indicates its real aside from a one web page and mockups on shows :D
2.46.0.31 on Dev right now
Any changes?
you said as ground based radar system its not chaffable. its as chaffable as aircraft radars in a general sense. ill just chaff the radar (by notching) like any pd radar, its the expection, not an exception and everyone understands this. when we talk about chaffing a pd radar, it always goes with the knowledge of notching and in this context if you say its unchaffable it would turn the idea into not being chaffable in a notch. everyone knows these basics at top tier
constant response filtering is for maximizing snr and you need 0gate with it. do you even know what is snr?
good luck relocking with that auto mode if youre being notched and chaff is being dumped
like i said if youre being chaffed in a notch your missile will not hit. sure, if you leave it, then you may be able to relock which is not possible in sarh however it does not change the above fact and proper defensive chaffing will trash the missile in this mode.
Oh look, A Draken that should be in TT is Squadron vehicle, guess premium XS wasn’t enough for Gaijin.
No countermeasures?
Bruh
mate it is no where near finished
Aim 9X is now implemented and works
