Composites aren’t some new fad.
Camouflage and reverse gear is also nothing new but American army wasted 14 years on UCP ACU and RAF won’t give good reverse speed for tanks for entirety of Russian Federation existance.
Spoiler

We’re not talking about the us alone here. You don’t see ariete or challenger running around in era

Rip the XM8 and booker, forever missed.
Doesn’t Chally 2 Theatre Entry Standart includes ERA ?
I’ve seen T-90M taking a hit and surviving at some point
You have politically charged bias against Russia
Ironic coming from a person who only uses eastern sources and claims all western sources are propaganda.
I would send videos but last time i did that i got timeout because “politics” or whatever so im gonna leave this with no comment.
‘_PLA’ shouldve been a flag
RIP ROC, removed and will probably never come back due to garbage additions.
No and likely won´t be out there for many years to come.
So the best we can do right now is relying in US and Russian sources (namely, manufacturers of M829A3 and Relikt; ATK and Nii Stali) and strangely both corroborate each other regarding the Relikt being effective enough against M829A3.
Also there aren´t many simulations out there but also goes in line with whats expected:
Those “simulation” are just misleading and nothing else
If you say so. Nevertheless, its only a supporting argument. Main thing is that sources from both sides corroborate each other.
Speaking of bradley
M2A4 has reactive armor

@Alan_Tovarishch the issue I’ve seen with the simulations is they hit at optimal angles. In this case the magic 68 degrees installation angle.
At real engagement ranges height differences and ballistic drop from distance can reduce that angle. Even as much as 3 degrees can significantly impact ERA plate performance.
Not really, the old bug report on ROMOR is pretty clear in the effective protection increase it provides. It’s at least 500mm RHAe (or higher) against CE when mounted properly. K-1 is only 400mm RHAe. The sources and numbers provided are easily searchable on the net.
It’s described by the manufacturer as explosive reactive armor, and made by a famous corporation dealing in explosives for centuries. It explodes.
With most US armor, the specifics are likely highly classified. You can see what’s left after it detonates on some photos from a current conflict that shall not be named, but info on the ERA before it activates is scarce for anyone not in the MIC.
Takes one to know one.
You are more biased than a lot of people on this forum lol.
god I love the look of the Bradley and how it is in game really wish we were getting the M2A4 before the booker lol
You just refuse to believe in any source other than western ones sponsored by the state. Russian and Chinese sources often evaluate their and western vehicles much more fairly
Although I agree its dumb to only consider western stuff truthful, I will note its at least proven slightly consistent with telling the truth between all companies/ manufacturers, while some eastern companies ruin the trust in all of them which is kinda of unlucky cause I bet you a decent majority are telling somewhat vague factual truth similar to the west.
lastly you not trusting western stuff and then saying others can’t except eastern stuff is fucking dumb, practice what you preach first then call others out. For stuff this modern their needs to be skepticism on both sides not two toddlers saying my document says this so yours is commie, or capitalist propaganda like what both of you are essentially doing which doesn’t lead to a actual reasonable discussion.
