Italy can also get another similar vehicle. OF-40 mk.3 - a cheaper variant of Ariete suggested for export (this one participated in trials in UAE), it’s basically pre-serie Ariete turret on the improved OF-40 chassis.

I only hope it uses the same engine as M48 Super, that thing has good reverse speed.

It’s a M60 hull with a M1A1 turret/test bed. So armor packages didn’t likely exist. Nor would there be a point to do so.
Never the less the M60-2000 is a beautiful vehicle.
Please gaijin for the love of god give the 120s its 1200hp engine, stop gimping US tanks

Never had a 1200hp engine, it was only presented as an option. And it would probably require modification of the engine bay in order to fit.
at this point I’d be absolutely grateful if this tank lost its m829a1 shell in exchange for a 1200 HP engine

Just because the in-game specifications happen to align with some random website doesn’t mean that’s the source Gaijin used.
