M24 for the British tree?

Is there a rule stating every nation must be one to one comparable to all others? I don’t see how everything being homogenized is good, instead of trees having more national character/identity/asymmetry.

There are numerous armored cars that are just as well protected, if not more protected than their nearest light tank counterpart. The Boarhound, EBR, and Puma are all at least frontally protected from .50 cals and even some light cannon, while light tanks such as the M22 locust, BT series, or IKV 91 are extremely lightly protected and can be frontally killed by even .50 cals. Armored cars faster on roads? Yeah, that’s the one thing that differentiates the two vehicle types in war thunder basically.

I tend to be against copy paste, but would definetely agree with the chaffee being introduced into the British tech tree, as they were commonly used by them, and would help provide a decent light tank for the 3.7 lineup. Also would like to see it named as just ‘Chaffee’, as was the British tradition of naming the American vehicles after there general’s. Like how the M4 is the Sherman, and the M3 is the Grant or Lee and so on

Thats literally how they have balanced the game, have you not noticed the push for 155mm howitzer tracked vehicles recently? gaijin normally tries to give direct equivalents when possible, as that is what is healthy for brs, and when it comes to light tanks in the 3.0 to 4.0 bracket the chaffee is one if not the best, hence why its been scattered in several nations, except the one that named it the chaffee XD.
