SHHHHH, tell them that after they add it to our tree, extra model work will make it less likely.

The country that operated over 25% of all Chaffees built are yet to receive the second half of the M24 they are missing as well. Chaffee for everybody!

I think GB should absolutely receive the Chaffee, as they operated it, but I think the F/A-18 is completely overboard, and GB absolutely doesn’t need it and shouldn’t have it.

To be clear; I don’t think any nation other than the US and maybe Sweden should receive the F/A-18- and even then, Sweden should have only had one variant, not two.

The fact of the matter is Gaijin hands out US aircraft like Candy not because of historical accuracy or some other reason, but because it is cheap and easy for Gaijin to do to make them money. They simply use the excuse of “affiliated nations” to make it so they don’t have to do any work.

This, where as when it comes to ground alot of these land lease tanks were actual British armoured unit backbone, and we still lack one the sherman v is the most painful followed by the chaffee

I would much prefer something actually British, like one of the many armored cars they used/developed. Two of the best candidates for such are thing are sadly event vehicles right now. I’m against the Danish M24 as well.

Britain was a main user of the m24…

That is how M24 becomes ‘Chaffee’, isn’t it? XD

Yes, M24 was named Chaffee in British service.
We give the name to quite a few of the American tanks of ww2

I mean, the UK was the main user of a number of lend-lease and the like, to the point that it was gifting them to other nations.

Yet the UK is still missing most of them, which is a shame.

That doesn’t make it British. There are genuine, unique British vehicles that could be added instead. You can already play the M24 in 3, and soon 4 trees. I guess we want copy paste now?

Additionally, it lowers the chance of domestic vehicles being added, due to a tree “not needing” the vehicle. The M44 being a recent example where both Britain and Germany could have received domestic artillery pieces.

Which will get neglected hard and going to get shamelessly overrated by Gaijin, and no APHE?

Even though there is plenty of M24 outside of our TT
It is extremely disappointing to see Gaijin is purposely neglecting Chaffe’s one of the largest export users while they decided to add M24 into other nations, which used them in smaller numbers, with a large gap.

We had 302 M24 while Denmark got 63.

By the way, according to hatred to the British of Gaijin, I think Soviets (two lend-leased) will get their M24 faster than us.: /

Yes, British vehicles are already neglected, and with more copy and paste filler, they can neglect them even more since the tree wont “need” its domestic vehicles. This already happened with the M44.

APHE is a separate issue, as it should not be as powerful and desired as it is right now. And its no guarantee that a vehicle in the British TT will even have APHE, just because it could (and did) fire it, otherwise many more vehicles in the TT would have it now.

I would prefer the Sherman V or the Sherman III, since the United Kingdom used them quite a lot in WWII.

The APHE issue is complicated. Everyone knows it’s wrong. A few want it realistic, many want it as is, and gaijin has no desire to spend time working to fix the problem.
I find it curious how the devs make this garbage, giving a bullet a historical advantage (explosive does a bit more spalling), exaggerating it in a surreal way (instead of a larger damage cone, a sphere of death, omitting kinetic energy), and then, after exaggerating the advantages of something, they omit the disadvantages (APHEs tended to detonate prematurely).

Yes. We are getting neglected as hard as they can.

No, they will still gonna neglect us no matter whether we get a copy-paste vehicle or not.
Look at our bluewater fleet, which even failed to grab and got our Revenge class stolen.
Look at our South African sub-tree, which we only have one SAAF plane in the whole tech-tree
Look at our indian sub-tree, which has no indian plane as tech-tree version and only got two copied SPAA as tech-tree thing.
Look at our new SPAA Tracked Rapier, which is useless, while others get a new top-of-the-line SPAA.

I think you are wrong.
We can’t get any vehicles not because copy-pasted vehicles replaced that role
We can’t get any vehicles because Gaijin hates us so much.

I think we will NEVER going to get our domestic armoured car which you want instead of M24.

Yes. Copy-paste might be bad, but double-standarding about copy-paste is even worse than that.
We were one of the biggest users of M24 Chaffee and some other American-built vehicles, but Gaijin is unwilling to give either ‘copy-pasted vehicles’ or ‘non-copied domestic counterparts’.

We have no other option than
‘Get a copy-pasted vehicle which we were actively using’
or
'Starve till death with no vehicles in the new update. ’

Agree to disagree. I’m not opposed to M24 for Britain in a vacuum, I would just hope it doesn’t put off domestic items.

I doubt it would since it seems like a simple addition. Either way there is no real british built tank that would fill the same role as the chaffee around the 3.7 BR.
